I purchased this little gadget so my ferrets would stop throwing their food bowls all over the cage, and wasting the food. This works so well, and is so easy to install, and take apart to clean and refill, that I updated all my critters food and water bowls..it has a little sliding thingy that locks the bowl into place so the critter cant pick it up and throw it..and is resistant to chewing as well..and it comes in 2 sizes--the little 10 oz for all my little furries, and a 20 oz for my larger crate trained doggie..luv luv it..and the free shipping is always fantastic..once again, thanks amazon.com

nicely made crock. size is fine for most applications unles you have a flat faced rabbit. It might be difficult for them to get all the way to the bottom with this size.

IMO, the best food cup going. My rats used to flip their food bowl, but now their bowl is secure. It's low enough for the adult rats to reach with the base resting on the platform as well as being really easy to remove, clean, refill and put back. Great product!

I love the color of this bowl! It is a really pretty green. I did have some issues with it seeing as the first time I ordered it it came without the bowl (I got it from One Way Pets). Our sweet little guinea pig, Max, could probably tip over a cement bowl, so I was pleased to see this one that attached to the side of his cage. So what's the problem, you ask? Well, this bowl's pretty deep, so I have to fill it up with a lot of food(notice I said "I", not the kids?)so that Max can reach into it to get to any dinner. The food at the bottom really doesn't get eaten, because he would pretty much have to climb into the bowl to get to it! Trust me, he can't do that. So...I have to dump that food out, add fresh, and then top that food off with the older food, so I don't waste it. Really? I love him like crazy, but I decided to just put a small amount of food in his regular dish, and not wig out so much when he drags it across the cage. I truly think a small crated doggy would fare better using this item. Can't speak for bunnies, as I haven't owned one since Max came along. Please don't hold me to the abilities of bunny into food bowl,neck-stretching! Anything smaller than a guinea pig can't move a ceramic bowl, so you'd be fine there anyway. I feel like Dr. Doolittle,since from lizards to birds, they reside here!
