One of THE BEST cereals I have ever had! It is hard to beleive that it is GF. The best part: my kids LOVE it too! It has that crunchy-yummy-sweet factor that kids want. If they could make a GF version of their Pumpkin Flax (my other favorite cereal) I would be over the moon! Love Nature's Path.

There is a difference between the "natural vanilla flavour" that Nature's Path uses in their cereal and pure vanilla extract. I was even compelled to write and ask them about this "flavour". They answered, "The exact composition used is considered proprietary information by the supplier."
But the bottom line here, is taste. I didn't have to do any internet research to know that Nature's path is not using the real thing. I didn't even have to taste it. I could smell the chemically smell when I opened the bag.
I'm eating it, but I don't like it and I'm worried about the chemicals that were used or added to make their "natural vanilla flavour". The link below helps to explain the difference between the vanilla "flavour" and vanilla extract.

I have had a terrible reaction ..the same type I have when I accidently ingest gluten free. Be ware if your gf .
