this looked great. It was for my 6 yo's birthday party and the girls all oohed and aahed over it. When it came time to break it open, they all had multiple whacks at it, and some of them really connected. After awhile, my husband went at it....for a good 20-30 bashes until he broke the pinata stick that we bought and finally gave up and just ripped the legs off (and even that was tough). In the end though, the girls loved it, they had fun, and eventually candy and toys flew everywhere....Exactly what a pinata should do. Buyer should be aware of the potential to need to help break it open if buying for younger kids, but I would rather have that, than one that busted open on the first whack! I would buy this again:)

Got this for my daughters 6th birthday. It is very well made and took quite a beating before it somewhat burst, it was more of a trickle. It was rather large also. The company I purchased it from has really great service-Celebrate Express. I plan on getting another one for my youngest 5th birthday next year.

I bought this Pinata because other people said that it was well-constructed. That was actually an understatement. I got the Pinata for my wife because she had never had one before and I also got a standard yellow wiffle ball bat. It took around 30 hard swings for that thing to finally break open. I couldn't even imagine how long it would take for a group of kids to break this thing. Very good product and completely satisfied.

This was one tough pinata. All the kids took several whacks at it, and in the end the adults started taking turns. The hanger ripped out early on, but I used some string and supported it at several different places and it still hung. In the end we wound up ripping it apart. We did use a foam padded bat though, so that may have taken out some of the impacts.

Bought this for my five - soon -to - be six year old's party. She loved it the minute she saw it come out of the box. It looks well-made and is very pretty. She has started using this as a toy/playmate for her other unicorn toys and now I am afraid she won't let me use it at her party as a piñata. I am thinking about buying another one so she can keep one and still have a piñata at her party...

The pinata came in good shape. It is cute, easy to fill and hang. The kids soon found it was difficult to break open with a plastic ball bat - but they did it without adult help. Each of the 7 children had many turns "at bat."

This was the perfect size for my 11 year old party. The only thing I didn't like was that after a few rounds, the unicorn itself did not bust, but the hook that is attached to the top of the unicorn ripped out. Other than that, I was pleased with my purchase!
