This may be a great product, but we can't use it. We ordered it for our organic farm, based on the image that shows it is listed with OMRI - the Organic Materials Review Institute, the group that certifies products for use on certified organic farms. When the product arrived, the label did not show the OMRI listing. I called Dr. Earth and was told that "they used to be OMRI listed, but their owner decided not to pursue it any longer".

We're working through year two of the three year organic certification process and can't use any products that are not OMRI listed, so we'll be sending this back for a refund. The person we spoke to at Dr. Earth was very helpful, and even called back the next day to check on where we had ordered so she could get the images corrected. I hope that happens soon.

This 1 pt. of Dr. Earth's seaweed (Norwegian kelp) makes 64 gallons of fertilizer for plants and microgreens. It is a liquid so it can be shaken and then mixed to be put on the soil to incrfease production. This is a natural organic way to fertilize plants. The material came quickly and it is always nice to do business on Amazon. Amazon has so many different products and I was able to buy other items for my garden as well as books in this area and in other areas. I was able to check out other items as well such as the Aerogarden indoor plant system. This fertilizer will help me get an organic started both inside and outside the house. Thank you for sending this. Really impressed that this small bottle will make up 64 gallons of fertilizer.

Last fall I planted several hundred garlic bulbs and followed the recommendation of gourmetgarlicgardens to soak the cloves overnight in a solution of liquid seaweed to promote root growth. After planting, the bulbs sprouted and grew well over the winter and are now about 12" tall. Last month (January) I made another application and the plants seemed to really perk up. I also read at dixondalefarms that high-potassium fertilizer such as liquid seaweed helps protect garlic and onions from freeze damage. This has been a mild winter in North Carolina with only a few days of temperatures in the mid twenties, but the garlic has done just fine and is growing well. I can't prove it, but I'm convinced that the Dr. Earth liquid seaweed has been very beneficial; I'll keep using it on my garlic and onions.

Edit: I just harvested the garlic I planted last fall and the crop was just average. Many of the bulbs were small so I can't honestly say whether the Dr. Earth fertilizer helped or hindered. I'm downgrading to 4 stars.

I bought a bottle of this after not being able to get the stuff I used to use. I am using this as a part of a special recipe fertilizer for my plants. It seems to be just as good as what I had used in the past. Easy to get into packaging and a good price.

Concentrated fertilizer. My pumpkin vines and banana plants are doing great. Won't burn your plants like miracle grow can. I highly recommend it and am glad amazon carries it because its been impossible to find it locally.

I unfortunately was not impressed with this product. I use Dr. Earth Hibiscus fertilizer and I love it and I was hoping the same for this formulation. Not only did I not see any improvement or increase in production from my plants a few of them actually turned yellow after using this. Unfortunately it is no what my plants need. However, every one's soil situation is different. I used it on: tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, cucumbers.

I use it at a teaspoon per gallon on coco. Nice to have a liquid seaweed concentrate that lasts a little longer, and the bottle says that there's other good stuff too. I thought the aloe was an interesting touch.
