I don't normally write reviews, but after ordering two of these I thought I'd warn others considering purchasing this item. The case itself is nice. Fits my phone well, feels solid and well made while adding a little color to my case. The bottom takes a little effort to slide on and off but not much and my charger connects without having to remove the bottom piece.

The big issue with this case is the packaging and what is in the package. The phone supposedly comes with a back and a front protection film. I didn't receive the front film on the first one I ordered. I had to return it and order a complete second one only to find there was no front screen in the second one either. At this point, I'll be purchasing a separate screen protector and hopefully it will fit with the case on. Needless to say, I'm a little frustrated with NOT receiving the items said to be in the package twice especially for the price of this case. Amazon customer support couldn't provide the replacement part and just said to return it and reorder. I won't be making a third order but will keep the case if I can find a screen film that works with it.

First of all I'll say that I really like the look and feel of this case, it feels nice in my hand, fits the phone very well, adds little bulk while offering excellent protection and the color is great. That said, it has some issues that prevent me from giving it more than 3 stars. Perhaps I received an older version, in which case I'm disappointed that the case was not listed as such.

My issues are -

There is no hole for the ambient noise mic at the top of the phone, next to the headphone port. I remedied this by drilling a small hole in the case, but since the case is painted and not molded from colored plastic, the inside of the hole is white instead of orange. An orange sharpie on the drilled area helped this, but it's obviously not perfect.

The opening for the sync cable is tight, the factory cable fits fine but aftermarket cables may not. 2 of my 3 non-apple cables will not fit the hole, so I have to remove the bottom portion of the case to plug them in. This wouldn't be such an issue, except that the aforementioned great fit also means that every time I put the bottom portion back on the phone, it peels the screen protector up unless I am very very careful. I plan to use a dremel tool to widen the opening a bit, but it's disappointing that the manufacturer couldn't make it just a bit bigger to accomodate aftermarket chargers.

All of that said, the fact that I was willing to make these modifications at all does speak to how much I like the look, feel, and fit of the case.

Where do I begin?
Pros:
1. Case is covered in a poly coating which gives it a matte look and texture, making it easy to grip but not too hard to remove from a decent pair of jeans.

2. This case is stylish. The color (orange with a black bottom) is very bright and attractive, almost a pumpkin oragne.

3. This pack includes a black bottom and a bottom in the same shade of orange, so that's a bonus.

4. Like most cases, this one comes with a free screen protector.

5. Comes in a very small box and leaves little packaging waste.

Cons:

1. My box did not come with a rear protector, as per the Elago webstore description.

2. Case is very form fitting and thusly, hard to remove.

3. Case is so tight that it rips the front screen protector right off.

I'm okay with this case, but that's about it. Just okay. I would not suggest you buy it as there is a plethora of better cases on the market, especially through Amazon.

I like this case well enough, It looks nice and offers some protection. Put a giant bulky case on your slim sexy light phone for more protection. That's like putting a supermodel in bomb suit, sure she's safe and that is about it.
