This is a sturdy box. I read reviews about the plastic used to cover the compartments being a problem. At first I though this was the case when I opened the package. The plastic looked wrinkled and kind of dirty. Then I noticed that there was a clear film that needed to be removed on both sides. Like the kind that come on new products like phones and televisions. Once I peeled off the protective film the plastic was in perfect condition . This is an excellent little shadow box. I can't wait to decoupage it. I'm very happy with it.

loved the idea of being able to change things around by moving little boxes. And it is a VERY great idea in total. Did not read description very well until after i purchased. I was hoping to use as a shadow box to hang on the wall. came with no hardware for that. Looked at the back to find out it is not made for hanging. Went back to read description on web site. Sure enough, it says NOTHING about hanging configuration box. Says, "lay them flat or stand them up." What a BUMMER!! If you're looking for a shadow box on a wall..? This product IS NOT IT! Also, paper covering the inner boxes will come off if they're messed with too much. I can already see that is going to happen.

I liked being able to design my own shadow box. I looked online and couldn't find anything that would work with the project I was doing, so I gave this a shot. I liked being able to move the boxes around. I ended up not using about 4 of the smaller boxes. The boxes were very small and I wanted a little bit more space. I also didn't like when all of the boxes were touching you could see a little space in between them. This box worked for the project I was doing, but I would probably go for something else next time.

The plastic of the window face is warped and lined, I have to be careful that what I put inside wont fall out becasue the plastic window face is not attractive. The box design is very cool.
