This is the second head I have had to buy in the last year. I hope this one lasts longer than the first replacement head I had to buy. On the first one the belt melted through the side and it stopped turning.

After my first head stopped working i ordered this replacement. It was super easy to attach and no special tools were needed. I don't think of myself as very handy and this was a breeze changing it out. Worked immediately after changing it out and I have had no other issues. So happy i was able to repair my Dyson instead of buying a new one!

We have a 10 year old Siberian Husky, she sheds all day, every day.....every single day. Those of you lucky enough to share your lives with a Husky are shaking your heads in agreement, others are wondering how a dog can shed that much....trust me, it seems impossible, but she does. Anyhow....five years ago I bought my wife the Dyson DC25 to keep up with the shedding, and it has done a great job, but getting on five years old...the vac was starting to have problems. Naturally I started thinking about a new vac, but this has been such a good machine that fixing it seemed like an idea. So I come to Amazon, type in DC25 parts and lo and behold a new head....for such a reasonable price!!! It arrived the day after I ordered it !!! Switched parts and WOW !!! It was like it was new again, the old head had gotten very noisy and the beater bar was worn down to nothing......anyone with a DC25...and wanting performance like day one??? THIS is your answer, and it is ultra simple to install.

The spinning piece that holds the brush in place recently broke on my other head. I was really sad because we had only had our Dyson for 5 years. I didn't want to pay $200-$500 to get a new vacuum, and so I wanted to know if we could fix it ourselves. I checked around online and this was the cheapest solution that I could find. My husband and I debated if we should try it or not because we didn't want to waste our money. But $63 is a lot cheaper than $400 so we decided we might as well take a chance since we had just purchased a new car. I was so happy when it arrived. It is exactly like the old head. Plus, it only took like 30 seconds to replace the part. I have been using it for about a month now and so far it has worked perfectly. Very happy with this purchase. I would trust to buy from them again although I'm praying that I don't need to anytime soon.

This is the 3rd head that we have purchased for our DC25 animal. Never had a problem with the belts or motor but the printed circuit board has failed on all the previous ones. The backside of the capacitor is not protected and a little moisture bridges the soldered lead and blows out the board. I was able to fix the first one but there was barely any contact surface left on the board and it didn't last long. All that is needed is to protect the backside of the PCB and it would be fine. You can't find a PCB in the US either but plenty can be found in the UK??? Wrong voltage for that unit but funny they are available there and not in the states. I am going to get a component list and make my own so I can stop dropping $60-$100 every time the board blows up. Anyone already have this?

I was very impressed by this, I half expected it to be manufactured by some other company since it is about $60 less than what it sells for on Dyson's website but it seems to be a genuine Dyson replacement. It came in a Dyson box with a part number, and is exactly like the part that was broken on my Dyson DC25 Animal. It works perfectly and my vacuum is basically like new. It also arrived very quickly which is a bonus.

We've got a quite old Dyson and the beater bar in this assembly finally just stripped completely & the entire head needed to be replaced. The part came almost before I ordered it and it is exactly the part I need. The assembly comes without any instructions for swapping the old one out & new one in, but simply looking at the connection you'd have to be a bigger idiot than I not to be able to figure it out. You've got to really yank and wiggle to get the old one off and I had to smack the new one a couple of times to get it finally seated, NBT.
