About five years ago I noticed that our three cats were beginning to slow down a bit. The days of waking us up by thundering up and down the stairs at two in the morning had mysteriously come to an end. At eleven years old I figured they had just slowed down a bit. Then I noticed Dexter had brown spots developing on the iris of his eyes. The more I read about this spotting I realized that there might be a vitamin deficiency in his diet. The search for a palatable cat vitamin left me with a draw full of single used bags.
When I discovered these Daily Best vitamins things began to change! Dexys eyes reverted to all green, Cinders had less trouble jumping up on the bed and Taylor began leading the nighly charge through the house again.
Now it is a nightly ritual for the kidz to remind us when their vitamin is due! Sixteen years old going on about eight. The thunder rolls again!

I adopted my cat Smokey, 12 years ago as a Rescue Cat. He had an incurable viral eye infection that never bothers him. However the drainage from his eye goes into his sinuses making him vulnerable to Upper Respiratory Infections (URI's)

He gets these URI's ALL THE TIME. And when I take him to the vet, the vet puts him on antibiotics. But they only work a week and his URI comes right back. So the vet puts him on a stronger antibiotic that makes Smokey lose weight, and the URI comes right back one week later!!!!

Rather than taking Smokey to the vet, I have managed his chronic URI's with humidifiers. They have helped him a lot. But my cat still sneezes BIG green buggers from his nose, and coughs. The poor little guy has a day or so of severe congestion. I then get him surrounded by a bunch of humidifiers. But it is a daunting fight that has lasted for 12 years!!!!! ugh!

I just started smokey on these daily vitamins (Pet Naturals Daily Best for Cats (45 count) ), by giving him 1/day. The RDA is 2/day. But with ONLY 1/day, the IMPROVEMENT IS INCREDIBLE. He sneezes and coughs A LOT LESS!!!!! And on the RARE occasion he does sneeze, rather than sneezing BIG green (green is a sign of bacterial infection) buggers, he sneezed very small little white (white meaning the infection is Iless) ones.

And he has so much more energy. He runs around like a maniac on these daily vitamins..

Then after about 2 weeks on these, I added to his regimen "Organic Pet Superfood IMMUNITY Premium Supplement For Dogs and Cats. NOW SMOKEY DOES NOT SNEEZE OR COUGH AT ALL!!! He is COMPLETELY CURED!!!! HE IS SO MUCH BETTER!Read more ›

I originally bought a few packages of this because I had read good reviews and it was well reccomended on many sites. My friend's cat had kittens and my boyfriend and i decided to take two of the four(we were lucky to be there from day one and watch their growth and development and got to bond with them from the start). All four of the kittens were fine, but one was always smaller than the others, the only girl, and she frequently got pushed aside during meals. I started giving her some special attention, meals by herself, special treats to help bulk her up, but i wanted to be sure she was getting extra nutrients too.

After giving her these vitamins, the change was subtle but a big difference to me. I gave her one a day and originally it took her a while to eat because she had such a small mouth even at 3-4 months. Her coat was always nice, but now it is glossy and beautiful, she has more energy(when the boys arnt around to bowl her over), she seems to be absorbing her food better because she has started growing at the same rate as the boys when before she seemed slower to catch up, and i can tell the difference.

I started giving the vitamin to my boy as well(a monster sized cat, bigger than momcat at only 4-5 months) and his coat is so soft and downy now, fluffy, bright eyed, and surprisingly he sheds slightly less. When i brush him he still has a lot of fur come off, but it doesnt just fall off anymore when i pet him. He is long hair and she is short hair which is part of the difference in their coats.

Originally he was outpacing her in weight, when i started the vitamins he was two pounds a head of her. The weight difference has evened out and she has started catching up. And they love it. I just shake the bag and they come running for their vitamin. I will keep using this product for a long time!

I give the same version of this for canines to my dog. But no more.

Just watched Dr. Oz and they had Consumer Labs on who tests ingredients in vitamins/supplements for humans and animals. Here is the report for this:

NOT APPROVED

CLAIMS 50% VITALIN C, FOUND 42%

FOUND .60 - 1.79 MCG OF LEAD PER DAILY SERVING - OVER THE SAFE AMOUNT

Pet - Tabs was approved.

Not getting all the vitamin C is not a problem in my opinion, but heavier doses of lead that are dangerous to our pets is a problem. I'll be switching.

This is an amazing product. Yes, I highly recommend it. I have a 21 year old cat that I starting giving these vitamins to and they have really helped her. She is much more active, loves the taste, and is in much better general health. I even called the company to see if they were putting some kind of kitten happiness ingredient into them, but no just good quality nutrients.

Now she trots down the hall in the morning for her breakfast, instead of waiting in her bed for her servant, me, to deliver it to her. Her energy is much better, and she acts more like a 7 year old kitten instead of a 21 year old cat. It was great to see her feeling better and after 2 years of being on these vitamins, everyone tells me they can't believe she is 21. Wow, I wish they made them for humans.

Best thing I have done for her was giving her these.
