My only problem with these is that they are a little narrower than the originals that came with the bone. Because of this they pop out very easily and are eaten immediately. The original sticks wedged in real tight and it would take a couple of hours for them to get to them. I am able to wedge a sliver of pine in with the stick and that helps keep it from popping out.

My dog loved the toy that goes with these refills as well as these refill treats. This was his favorite toy/treat and he chewed the holder so much he deformed it. Once the holder was deformed, the refills no longer fit. My complaint with the refills is that if they were just a little less rigid, they might fit in the deformed holes. Alas, they are very rigid/hard little treats. It is very hard to find anything else that will fit in those specifically shaped little holes.

Likes:
Dog loves them

Dislikes:
Very rigid: will not fit in holes once holder is well-chewed
Can't find another treat to fit in holes

Bottom line:
If you haven't bought the holder yet, I recommend a different holder for strong chewers. If you have bought the holder, these refills are all I could find to fill it and, as long as I could fit them in the holes, I found them worth it.

I bought this product looking for something that would occupy my dog for at least 10 minutes. I was very hopeful about this product. However, the treats do not fit the holes. They sit in the holes, but do not snap in. She gets the treats out in seconds.

I read that others had problems with the treats fitting into the holder. So far I have not had that problem. Some of them require a little more force to push them in, but that just makes it more challenging for my dog to get out. I

I purchase these for my three Golden Retrievers as special treats for when we leave the house for extended periods of time. I use them in the Nylabone toy that I originally purchased that contained the toy and several of these treats in the package. The object of the toy/treat is that the dogs must "work" a bit to remove the treat which occupies them in our absence. The dogs love these things and for the most part I do also, however, the original package of treats fit inside the toy snugly but, the "refill" packs of these treats vary so much in size that more than half of the treats in the package fall right out of the Nylabone toy when the treats are inserted, which sort of defeats the purpose of the dogs having to "work at" removing them....they just fall right out! I continue to repurchase because the dogs really look forward to us leaving (a major deal since one of my boys has separation anxiety!!!), so that they can have one of these treats, however I do wish they were a bit wider like the originals purchased with the toy itself, so they fit in the toy a bit snugger!

My dog has several of the nylabones that these insert into and he loves them. Petsmart rarely ever has them in stock so it's great to be able to get several packs at a time and at such a great price. I have yet to see a company that can compete with the prices and as like any Nylabone product each of these mini soupers lasts a long time and don't shatter or break into pieces that could hurt the dog using them. They were great when my dog was teething but even now, he still loves them and they're a staple among his toys and chews.

My lab carries the bone that these fit into over to us and drops it in our laps. If he could type this review himself, I'm sure he'd be on here telling you to put these on autoship. We have them in our monthly subscribe and save shipment, and my dog knows it. He has to be right up in our faces whenever we open a box from amazon, to see if his treats are in there.

The funny thing is, these don't really fit that great in the bone, and my lab can get them out in like 0.2 seconds, whereas our small dog is too lazy/stupid to even try to get them out and will just walk away from it without any interest at all. She goes NUTS with enthusiasm if you'll just hand her one of these treats, though. Which is why I'm not taking any stars away even though the design of how they fit into the nylabone is pretty crummy. Because, in the end, I just want to make my dogs happy ... and these things are like crack to my dogs for some reason. But yeah, if you need something to keep your dog busy for a while, this probably isn't it. For that I prefer something like the Twist n Treat that you can coat the inside with a thin layer of cream cheese (it unscrews making that super simple to spread on there evenly with a knife) and then stick some small treats or even frozen peas, carrots, and green beans in there for your dog to try and get out while you're gone.
