Haven't got to wear them hunting yet but they should be perfect, have worn them just as gloves and they fit great.
Love these gloves, lost the last pair I had, happy I was able to replace them.
I have an assortment of gloves and mittens and you can't go wrong with these for two important reasons.

I'm on the slopes shooting Ski races most weekends during the winter. I've been looking for years for a solution to the problem of dexterity and warmth. I have tried other fold-back mittens, but these get cold after a while and the Velcro tabs wear out fast. I've even cut the finger tips off gloves, but these get cold fast!

The combination of the fold-back design, thin liners and warmers are the perfect solution!!! Last Saturday I was on the hill shooting photos for 3 1/2 hours. It was 8 degrees out with a wind-chill of 8 below zero! My hands were toasty! I kept one finger exposed to hit the shutter release, and the rest inside the mitt. The liner cut the wind, and if the finger got cold I tucked it back inside for the heat pad to keep warm.

My only criticism - the heat pack pouch is poorly designed. It should be snug with a closure of some type. It's way too big for the warmer, so the warmer tends to bunch up (like a scrunched pillow) and has to be moved around and flattened throughout the day.

I don't text that much, but a few people saw the mitts and wanted the ordering information so they could use them for texting while skiing.

I have Raynaud's and bought these after reading a review from someone who also suffers from this snydrome. I have an assortment of gloves and mittens and you can't go wrong with these for two important reasons. The first is the pocket for the hand warmers and the second is because of the flap you're fingers are never exposed to the elements. I couldn't find a sizing chart and originally ordered the large. It was too big. So if you normally take a large in an Isotoner glove, make sure to order the medium.

I'm a sufferer of Raynauds. I purchased these gloves to help prevent exposure to chilly temperatures. This is the first pair, in a very long time, that kept my hands warm while being outside over an extended period of time. Maybe it's because of the mitten, I'm not sure. I'm a satisfied customer.

The knit material for the fingers is very thin. I had hoped it would be more like normal gloves. Does not appear it will repel dirt or moisture. Would be great for pulling a trigger, or clean & dry work requiring careful control. Not recommended for ice fishing, working in the yard, playing in the snow, or even driving. Not bad for watching a parade, walking, etc.

I'm sure they're great for gun (not bow) hunters. The magnetic clasps are a smart idea. No noisy Velcro to startle those deer, elk, or bunny rabbits.

The idea was on point, but the product didn't deliver. The liner fingers were extra long, and didn't block the wind what-so-ever. Might as well, get the wool fingerless mittens!

I really like these gloves. I used them on a hunt last week, and they worked nicely. Some people claim that they are worthless because the little heat packs fall out. That is not the case at all. Mine stayed in nicely. I did slip them into the pockets and then turn them sideways so that they would stay in better. Maybe people aren't realizing that the warmer packets are longer than they are wide, and that turning them lengthwise will keep them in nicely. I haven't tested these gloves in extremely cold weather, like last year when I hunted in 7 degree weather, but I don't plan on doing that again in any pair of gloves or mittens. For the kind of hunts I will be pursuing, probably 20 degrees F, or above, I am confident that these little convertible mittens will work just fine. For the price you just can't beat them!

UPDATE: I also want to add that after finally trying the Heat Factory hand warmers in my Glove Mittens (the packets that came with them), I am equally as well impressed with the Heat Factory's hand warmer packets. I hunted again this morning, and it was about 32 degrees F outside until way on up into the day. Well, I had forgotten that I had Heat Factory warmers in my glove/mittens, and I started bragging to my buddy about those great Hot Hands hand warmers. I don't know if they actually lasted longer than Hot Hands, but these Heat Factory heat packets were still VERY warm at nine and a half hours into the day (at the end of our hunt). I never got cold, not for a minute, and not for a second.

Although they're not as well insulated as more expensive gloves or mittens, they are surprisingly warm (assuming the heat pads are inserted)but still thin enough that I can shift gears without much of a problem. For the price, I consider them a great value and, for me at least, they have really helped my winter cycling.

It is exactly what I wanted and expected. An inexpensive pair of gloves that have the benefits of both a mitten and a glove. I have the feeling that they won't last a season of skiing, but that is okay.
