At first, I was very disappointed in this product. Cute design, but they were smaller than I expected and they appeared flimsy. I'm glad I gave them a chance anyway! I used these to pack gifts of homemade treats for family and friends last Christmas. Inside each box I managed to fit a Ziploc bag of beef jerky, cellophane wrapped biscotti, three small dog bones, hand-blended lip balm, and an 8oz mason jar filled with hot chocolate mix. I was skeptical, but it turned out perfectly! The mason jars were by far the heaviest item and I considered reinforcing the bottom of the box with tape, as suggested by another reviewer, but I forgot. Even still, all but one box held just fine. The box that fell apart actually broke at the handle, not through the bottom, but it was carried around the entire evening at a holiday party. I will definitely use these boxes, perhaps one of the other designs, for future holiday treat packages!

I used these 2 years ago for a cookie exchange and loved them so much, I reordered 2 more. I will be using them for gifts this year. They are made from cardboard and are thick and sturdy. I did reinforce the bottoms with tape, to ensure they stayed secure, but not sure that was necessary. Better to be safe than sorry. Can't go wrong with these boxes. They hold a dozen cookies easily!

These boxes were so cute and at an amazing price. I wish there was more of an assortment compiled together, but was satisfied with what I received. The assemble together quickly and hold my daughters cookies perfectly. If you plan on putting cookies or brownies in them put a piece of wax paper at the bottom first because the cardboard will absorb any cooking oils you have used in your baking process and leave discoloration at the bottom which doesn't look pretty. I cut little sheets of wax paper and put it at the bottom and the box never got discolored at all. This makes for a prettier package especially if you plan on using them for a bake sale like we did.

Don't expect these to be really sturdy-- because they aren't. If you are putting anything in them heavier than taffy, you will need to reinforce the bottom of the box. I plan to use clear packing tape as I think that will look the least noticeable and will be sturdy.

I plan to put a variety of treats in them like cookies, caramels and such to give to my neighbors as a Christmas gift. These are the same boxes that are sold thru Oriental Trading Post. They are slightly more on Amazon but I am so glad to find them available on here as I didn't want to buy anything else from Oriental and so to have to pay shipping in addition made it not worth it to buy from OTP.

Each held 21 pieces of candy put in tiny cup cake holders. They were sturdy enough to hold that. The handles are a little flimsy and there is no covering so if you get them oily, it shows. But if you handle them well and keep them clean, they are great. My family just thought I did so much and these made it so simple. We just cut wax paper for the shelves inside, it was so easy.

These boxes are so adorable. It's perfect for a goodie box for like your child's class or a small gift for coworkers. You can easily stuff a shirt inside. And they hold pretty good amount of stuff. I order these for my sons 3rd grade class. I put in a note pad, pencil, bookmark, box of chocolates, a small bag of chips and two home made cookies. It all went inside perfectly and I'm sure the kids would love them!!
