I have never owned a sleeping bag or compression sack until last week, but this one works well and its easy to get my sleeping bag into. If you have a fluffy sleeping bag, however, order the blue compression sack. I ordered the yellow at first and it was way too small. My sleeping bag is for 30F and above, so its on the fluffier side.

this compression pack was very east to use. it took compressed my sleeping bag by 2/3. side compression straps makes it a breeze to compress. when not in use, it folds into itself into a pancake size pouch. ill be buying more of these at different sizes.

This bag was great quality, and can really stuff things down to a smaller size. The only issue i had with it is that its a little heavy for me, as i am using this for backpacking. Only a few ounces heavier than what i would have liked. I know this is a real small issue but i like to cut out unnecessary weight everywhere. I would recommend this bag. very sturdy

Ordered two of these and one came with a defective zipper right out of the bag. The zipper is basically for the pouch feature for containing the stuff sack itself but when you order something new you expect it to be new and completely in working order. Overall the quality is okay, would have liked to have seen "MADE IN THE USA" but instead it's made in China...so it's crap.

I was worried when I bought this because of some bad reviews but I looked at all kinds of compression stuff sacks and they all had bad review's I think a lot of that is misuse you can crank down on this and get really good compression but your not going to be able to pull with all your strength and expect to not tare off the straps.

I've had an old school DuPont sleeping back for 24 years that didn't come w/ any stuff sack & I've had it in a yellow Coleman Stuff sack. Well my bag filled that thing to the brim & eventually tore the back at a top seam. I looked & looked for a suitable stuff sack but allow me to cram the snot out that bag w/ fear of the sack tearing. I found this stuff sack & ordered it w/ apprehension.

And let me tell you, this stuff sack rocks. First I can stuff my bag like mad & then the compression top puts all fears aside from it tearing as I pull the straps tight (as my body weight pressing on the top of the bag w/ my right knee). This thing straps beautifully to my external frame pack & it is as tight as a drum.

I'd certainly recommend!

as these bags tend to run a little larger than most. The bag seems very durable.
