I had ordered two of this brand (different sizes, different colors) of choker chains. My one dog wears a size 20" plain choker chain, my other dog wears a size 18" plain choker chain. The sizes did not fit my dogs. The 20" would not go over my one dog's head. The 20" did fit the dog that wears a size 18" plain choker chain. If you plan on buying, do so in a larger size.
My description of this item would be take a regular choker chain, cut off the ends of a shoe lace loop it through the chain, at each end flip the lace over and glue it. This is poorly made.
The 20" glued end came undone within 5 minutes of my dog wearing it while laying down. My dog did not mess with it in way. It just came undone.
I have not tried the 18" one as it does not fit on my dog. I am sure considering ti is made with the same thoughtful process as the 20", it most likely will not hold up.
It is in my opinion the manufacturers felt sewing the ends together was to time consuming, and apparently gluing was cheaper and is faster.
Would not recommend this product to anyone. I would prefer to rate this with negative stars, but I don't get the option.
I just received these today in the mail.

i bought this collar for my 43 lb lab mix. the slim style sits nicely in her fur, and i like that the color of the nylon webbing gives it more personality and takes the edge off the traditional choke chain look. the chain itself is sturdy and my dog responds more to this collar while on leash than she does wearing a non-choke-style collar. i must say it is important to know how to use a choke chain correctly before you buy one so you do not accidentally injure your dog. the only reason i took off a star is because the metal is not stainless steel; the collar i bought for my other dog (same brand/style, different color) is showing wear where the leash attaches.

This collar works well and looks better than a regular single choke on our mastiff puppy. Size wise, this collar might be slightly small (like 25" instead of 26").

Unfortunately, she is outgrowing it rapidly and I don't see a 28" version.

It's a choke chain, there isn't a whole lot to say. It's brightly colored, making your dog appear less intimidating, and has held up well. I've used this with my Great Dane for months now and it's still in great shape.

I wish this collar came in a softer pink, first of all. It's the only pink I could find, so I got it anyways. After about a year, I've noticed that the nylon webbing is picked and isn't the same quality as it once was... plus the collar itself must be silver coated, because now the rings where the leash attaches is a bronze metal color. Disappointed about the wear of the product, but at least it hasn't broken.
