I hate to leave negative reviews but if I can save someone $100, I'll feel better. There are mixed reviews but I decided to buy since I've been so lucky with Amazon. I don't blame Amazon but Design Toscano for such a poor product at such a high price. It looks plastic and in the picture, there seems to be more depth to it but the elephant has cheap orange highlights on its skin. I bought an $8 small elephant head from Ross and wanted to match it with this. No comparison. Sorry, but stating my honest thoughts.

From the reviews, I expected it to be smaller than it appeared in the picture, but it is REALLY small. The items they are displaying on it in the picture are obviously miniature. It's just over a foot in height. The item is made of plastic resin, but sturdily crafted and not bad looking. I wanted an accent piece to compliment an India-style coffee table and this will suffice. I like the piece, but honestly, it's a bit overpriced. Had I seen it in person, I would have judged it worth around $50.

This item does not look as it appears in photo. It looks and feels like cheap plastic. The area that looks brown in the photo looks green in person. Color from the elephant is smeared down the trunk. There is also weird pattern on part of this one where something must have pressed against the resin as it was drying. It is semi cute as a plant stand I suppose but not at all worth the price. Wish my looked like the picture shown. I'm dissappointed for sure.
