Great for production cleaning

Put on 8" bench grinder to clean stainless product after welding - I wear many of these out in a years time but well worth the cost vs hand cleaning at an hourly rate

decent quality stainless buffing wheel

Have used these for years to clean stainless steel and give it a pebbly finish, or a brush finish. My one gripe is that the wires come loose pretty easily, and more so if you are pressing hard to get the pebbly finish. You will get dinged by them and it's painful. Of course I wouldn't be caught dead around any buffing or grinding machine without eye and face protection, but these wires will go right through clothes and spear themselves into your arms. Would love to find something that worked as well as a wire wheel but didn't involve the stinging.
