The case that originally came with my Contour Meter had a clear plastic pocket for the meter. The plastic pocket eventually wore out.

I ordered this case thinking it was exactly like the one I had. The new case has a mesh pocket for the meter, a positive. But the new case lacked a elastic strap for the test strips vial, a real negative. I prefer not to zip the case close for day-to-day usage, but without the strap for the test strip vial, the vial falls out.

Given the choice, I would prefer the plastic pocket meter pocket with a vial strap over the mesh meter pocket.

not as pictured... it is the basic case that comes with a generic meter. it has a zipper side and an elastic side. there is no spot that holds the test strips.
