The dimensions are listed at 6" - the 21410 model sent to me is only 2 3/4" long. Too short for my receiver.....

I had concerns about the clanking and rattling that could result from using a hitch pin but this one worked perfectly for a cargo box on a ski trip. I had mounted a hitch adapter, the cargo box carrier, and traveled on winding roads without problems. Up on steep hills, icy, snow-covered roads without noticing any sound from the trailer hitch, cargo box. For the performance and price, an excellent buy. Should had bought 3 of these to keep as 'back-up.'

This might be because I am uneducated in such things, but I bought this for my wife's Ford Escape, not a big car, and it was too small...weird I know. So I assume its a great product, just be aware that its the average size, its tiny. For like a bike rack attached to a Geo Metro kind of small.

a nice pin with a heavy vinyl coating on the pin and hair pin. The coating really helps to keep the pin from rattling and is a lot nicer to grab in the cold than a plain steel pin.
