These magnifying glasses are lightweight, plastic, and very durable. I am using them in my classroom library to make independent reading more fun, and they serve their purpose. However, don't expect to use these for actual magnifying purposes. It only magnifies a little bit, and looking through the plastic is very blurry. My students just like to hold it and act like it is helping them read, but really it does nothing for enlarging or clarifying small print. For the value, they are acceptable, just not very good quality. They would make good party favors!

not bad as an introduction for young children. rough handling can separate handle and lens but plastic lens has not shattered or produced sharp edges,. I would not allow them to be played with w/o adult supervision, because they are plastic and could conceivably produce sharp edges, even tho so far no evidence of that

These are terrible quality. They came late, and in a big box with no padding. They are all scratched up and they DO NOT MAGNIFY. They just make whatever you are looking at look wavy. My 6 year old was so disappointed. He looked at me and said, "Mommy, do you think my friends will notice that they aren't very good?"

I bought these for my daughter's spy themed party, which they made great additions to the goodie bags, and would've been better had many of them not fallen apart within 20 minutes of the kids hunting around for things. I would like to see a little more glue holding them together and perhaps in one color packs.
