Not really that firm and the light weight makes them feel strange and cheap. Of course they are, so hooray.
Update - 1 week - Not detergent or heat proof. All the silver came off in one dishwasher cycle. These are not reusable. I am now concerned about the surface treatment coming off in food or hot drinks. What is the coating made of? Is it toxic or carcinogenic, perhaps made in China?

I ordered 2 pkgs of these spoons. Not only was one package 1" smaller, they were full of black spots! 2 of 24 were usable-sad. I ordered the 1000 piece (same name brand) from a different vendor and they were in perfect condition.

These were a gift for my mother-in-law, who is elderly and not strong. They have been completely satisfactory, giving her a lightweight implement to eat with that also looks much nicer than most plastic tableware. If one gets lost (it happens all the time in the nursing home she lives in), there is always a replacement. Also would be useful for someone weak from illness.
