This works great. I use it to mist my terrariums and fill water bowls.

I would give this 5 stars, but Exo-Terra failed to include a gasket between the bottle and the screw-on top. Mine leaked air, and had trouble holding pressure. I used a silicone rubber hair tie as a gasket around the neck of the bottle, and it works fine.

If you have issues with pressure, try this!

I've had this for almost 3 months now and am overall pleased with the purchase. There's a rubber ring that sits in the lid which occasionally falls out. It's not a big deal, but is a little annoying to have to repeatedly put it back.

I read a few reviews about an issue with leaking. I haven't had that problem yet, but it wasn't something I considered when purchasing, since I'm using this in an atrium with a dirt floor.

There is definitely a strong smell when you first get this and I would recommend letting it sit opened for a few days, and possibly washing it with vinegar.

I purchased this spray bottle almost 4 months ago and I'm still impressed with how the bottle has held up. Many people have commented and complained about leaking yet I have not had such a problem yet. This is a big spray bottle though it fits my needs as I have an enormous enclosure for my water dragons. One thing I love about the device is the fact that there is a switching device that allows the bottle to spray by itself instead of having to manually press for the device to start spraying. For the price I think this is definitely worth picking up, and I would buy this again if I ever encountered an issue.

Now i'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about it "leaking." Mine doesn't seem to leak at all. Even though I have mine up to the fill line. Maybe others filled it up too much? Not sure. Anyways my Columbian Boa needed some extra humidity in her tank and the foggers have some pretty bad reviews so I stuck to the old spray bottle trick. I originally had a classic spray bottle but it was a pain having to fill it every single day with spring water. Thats where this big boy comes in. It can be filled with lots of water and the spray is far more superior than the little pansy mist from a regular spray bottle. Don't ask me why but I catch this mister somewhat fun to use. Hopefully you will too. Buy an Exo Terra Mister today!

I thought this would be nice to have for misting my reptiles and plants.
It holds a lot of water!

Trouble is, the mist nozzle adjustment spreads the mist out too wide and can
not be adjusted for a narrower spray.
This means water gets in places where you dont want it instead of being more focused.

You can adjust the spray for a narrow area, but not the finer mist.

Also, the spraying action does not last very long before the pressure is gone and needs
to be pumped up again.
I spent most of my time pumping this silly thing just to get a few seconds of spray.

So, ends up that I seldom use this. I stick with my usual spray bottle.

You may like this item, it is made well, and is good quality, but it's not for me.

Junk..broke in days.

Been keeping chameleons for many years, and wanted to try this as a way of watering them, while I had them outside, whist they enjoyed the spring weather. The mechanism on the handle that is supposed to make the bottle spray continuously broke after two days.

Waste of money.

These are the absolute WORST quality items. I have had 4 of this brand in the past 2 years, and they ALL seem to leak upon arrival. Do yourself a favor and go to Lowes, Home Depot, etc. and find a similar spray bottle for LESS that will last LONGER!

If the spray bottle is put down with some pressure still in the canister there will be considerable leakage back along the handle. If not paying attention to the problem this results in a wet floor or carpet. The problem can be avoided by cracking the vacuum before putting the canister down.
