I sent this to my boss as a thank you gift. She is very health conscious and extremely particular about her food, everything has to be high quality, and she doesn't eat any cakes or chocolates. She absolutely loved it!! She said it was fabulous and far above in quality from any fruit basket she's ever received. She even sent me a follow up email a week later to say that the fruit has lasted so long (she put in fridge) and that it is still so delicious. I will definitely only send fruit from this company from now on!!! I did a lot of research (because I've found in the past that flowers and other delivered items don't always turn out as good as advertised, but how would the sender ever know? People always say nice things when they thank us.) Thanks to the other reviewers who helped me make the right decision, that's why I made a point to also write a review.

I ordered this product as a last minute Christmas gift for my brother, and felt a bit nervous about it as I had never purchased from this company before. I've been a long-time customer of Harry & David for this kind of product, and generally had been happy with them. However, H&D happened to be out of the product I wanted to order, so I took a chance, and am happy to report that my brother raved about the quality of the fruit. It so happens that he also received a fruit basket from H&D, and said that their fruit was disappointing in comparison. It's fair to say I will be a repeat customer.

According to reports from the recipient, the fruit all arrived Fancy grade, either ripe or about to be ripe, none overripe, none bad. Yeah, this is expensive fruit (-1), but it was good (+4).
