Great for our 5 Mo. Old Shepherd when she needs something to do. These use to last her about 2 Days, now its down to 2 hours. They smell awful, but only at first. Once she chews on the piece for a few minutes the smell isn't overwhelming. Just as an FYI, our puppy likes to "gulp" in hopes of getting a second bully stick, or to avoid having it taken away. I fixed this problem by drilling a hole at the end and tie some rope around it. Once she hits the rope, she knows shes done. Now when she hears the drill she promptly sits on her bed and waits for her bully stick!

These are perfect baby sitters for any dog. If I need to clean or cook I give him one of these and he won't be underfoot. I wouldn't leave them with a dog unsupervised, but they are great if you need a few minutes to do something without the curious puppy all in your business. One stick lasts about 3-4 days. I don't let him eat one in a whole day (though he'd probably love it if I let him).

NOT made in USA as the description says. The package clearly says "Made in Paraguay." Made in USA was part of my consideration in evaluating the price, as well as product expectation. They smell so bad (I understand this is typical of bully sticks from outside the US) that I can't let my dog have it in the house.

these were really thick and dense, as bully sticks go, and not too smelly.
still don't want it being chewed on the couch with me there (too smelly), but on the floor is okay (Don't notice the smell).
I have bought the shorter kind, the braided kind, this lasts the longest.
I think she has been using the same one for 2-4 weeks. She does have other toys, but this is definitely not a 1 sitting chew for our puppy.
She is a teething golden-boxer mix at 5 months.

great price. I don't know a dog who does not love bully sticks . They are so hard they last a very very long time for small dogs and a longer time then other rawhide treats for bigger dogs. They are also better for your dog then Rawhide as I understand it rawhide is made with discarded animal hide from making leather items. It may have already been treated with tanning chemicals that can not be removed.
