This product is the real thing. It is not imitation chocolate flavor, it's got all the high and low notes of real chocolate beans. Some of those flavors are lost when the beans are processed and made into various products such as cocoa powder. If you want your recipes to have true chocolate flavors, this is the product you want to add. It takes very little because the flavor is highly concentrated. I used to use Torani chocolate syrup for my coffee, now I make my own for a fraction of the price. And, more flavors to boot!
