Great fixture for a closet. Easy installation and has a pull chain on/off which is important if your outlet isn't wired for a switch. We changed the bulb to a higher brightness. Performs perfectly.

We installed this in our old closet. The light is bright but not overly bright. It was pretty easy to install though anchoring in a ceiling alone cannot be a bit of a headache. I will say that if you want a really bright light replace it with a brighter light before installing.

At $33 this would be good. Metal construction and lots of choices for wiring it. I chose to wire it with a plug and that worked great. I used the side punching for that. I paid only $8 for mine in a warehouse deal and it comes with a bulb. Even bulbs tend to run more than that! Ballast looks replaceable which is nice.

Very easy installation, pleasant light, and was the perfect answer to a too-small roughed-in electrical outlet that wouldn't support the more typical closet light base. Very nice compact unit which I direct wired into wife's small food pantry, I used some small cup hooks to run the pull cord from the middle to the side so cord was out of the way.
