safe odorless lubricant

This product is odorless, can be used at higher temperatures, and is not messy. It came with a plastic straw that attaches to the nozzle so it can be sprayed into small locations. I was looking for a food-safe lubricant to spray into the loudly squeaking hinges of my 12-year old wall oven. Could not find anything like this at the local hardware stores.

The can was much larger than I expected. I only needed a small amount for a small problem-- but now I'm glad to have this product and will prefer using it around the house because it doesn't smell all chemically.

WD-What?

No disrespect to the originator of resolving squeaky door jambs, but this stuff is pretty awesome. Virtually odor free, environmentally friendly, and the application lasts forever.

Please note though, that though Prime eligible, it cannot be shipped via air. What this means is that I had to wait 5 days for this to arrive from the warehouse to San Francisco. Please keep this in mind if you're expecting this within the normal Prime time frame of 2 days.

Low Odor, Many Uses

I use this for all applications inside my home. Having pets that (like toddlers) will put most anything in their mouth and chew on it or lick it, I wanted something food grade. It has a VERY low odor unlike WD-40 and works just as well.

Some non-conventional ways in which I use this:
It's great for cleaning your stainless steel appliances if you have the kind that leave fingerprints. Just make sure you wipe off the excess.

I use it when doing a complete change of litter in my cats' litterbox. I coat the box lightly, wipe out the excess and pour in my litter. Coating the litterbox keeps any clumps from sticking to the sides should they relieve themselves near the edge. It also helps keep odor from penetrating into the plastic so you do not have to replace your litterbox as often.

If silicone sprays make you sick from the smell, get this one! Doesn't smell and seems to do what it's supposed to do. Comes with the little straw for small places. I couldn't get the straw to stay in, but others here can just fine. Doesn't smell, doesn't smell, doesn't smell! Yes!

Price is Right and is Food Safe

Better than expected!

Goin' down the slippery slope

Hey, it's silicone spray at a very good price.... and does the job to keep windows from sticking and rubber gaskets on doors from sticking--also good to spray on windshield wipers to avoid icing (BEFORE they freeze!).

Great for the tool box

I love this thing, I feel it last longer than wd40. I put some on my squeaky doors and it instantly fixed the squeak. The fan to my surround sound system was extremely loud, Took the fan out and gave a quick douse of this stuff and I haven't heard a squeak in over 6 months since I did it. Great product
