Great lube. I've used this on garage door spring, tools, etc. Compared to others like classic WD40 or solid grease, the blue WORKS Industrial Grade lube seem to work better. I spray this every 1-2 month on the garage door springs. One bottle last through several applications for single garage door. With same style of application, my garage door springs now makes less noise and are running smoother after being on blue WORKS. The spray comes out as white foam and attach to metal better than regular WD40, and is less messy than solid grease (and of course easier to apply than solid grease). I have been using the blue through Spring and Summer and saw no performance degradation in hot temperature. The blue has not been through the winter here yet so I can not speak to its performance in low temperature.

This is made by the WD-40 company. So what's the difference? It obviously has a mineral oil base, and the only advantage I see is it has a "marble" in the can to help mix the lubricant when you shake it.

It's a product looking for a market place.

I only recently started lubricating the spring on the garage door. It seems to do the job. It's less creaky and sounds like it has made the spring coil/recoil smoother. Adopt a shelter pet.
