The black cover is of heavy & good quality.However,there is only one velcro strap that holds the cover shut.One at the top and bottom in addition would have securely held beads in place the left inside cover has a pocket and a three sewn-in straps for tools, etc. The plastic bead board is squared-off.So,the upper right corner stuck out a bit.But there are only two connecting holding straps for the board.It would work better with four restraing straps on the cover.I resolved this by replacing the provided bead board with a bead board that I had purchchased earlier that had rounded corners.Now,it fits just right.

The cover is a nice improvement for carrying half finished projects in. The only improvement it could use is an all around zipper closure and a little more room inside so more tools can be added if needed. Its a very useful and necessary tool for people who bead. I always use a bead board for verifying balance of my jewelry and the length.I love it.

This bead board and cover make designing "on the move" so much easier than the board alone. It has one flaw. It must be kept
horizontal even when closed or the beads "escape" the unstrung design. I plan to add a thin piece of foam packing to secure the
beads in a horizontal or vertical position.

This worked as it's meant to... as a design board and storage for project-in-progress. When I need to transport my project, I put a bead mat Beadalon Beading Mats - Prevent Bead Rolling 12 X 9 Inch (Set of 3)over my project before closing the cover. Everything stays secure and doesn't shift too much.

I often like to bead while I watch TV in the living room, but my husband just can't stand mess or clutter. So I can gather up all the parts I need from my craft room, and take this handy little tray to where I'm working.

One thing to note, if you put tools, etc. in the pockets on the inside cover, there is no way to close it tightly. Small parts on the tray WILL fall out if not kept in a level position.

Very cool, would get five if it was truly tight enough to carry easily without the beads shifting around. Less secure when you store stuff in the pockets, so I do not bother. But I keep a bunch around to close off my work so meddling hands or dog tails dont interfere.

Serves it's purpose. Has a strong plastic/metal odor that's taking a while to dissipate (like - so strong that it fills the room). Generally, it's a nice tray, but it'd be nice if they had some instructions/explanation for all the hash marks and numbering around the board. As a novice beader, I expected the measurements to be for neck size, but I think it's strictly for bead size, which isn't really all that helpful when you're trying to size our your thread or wire. No information came with the board that explained its features - and you'd think it'd be self-explanatory, but no. So, it works, but it's kinda puzzling for the novice.
