Perfect fit for the passenger side 4T65E (2005 Impala) Used it with the 3 Lbs Harbor Freight Slide hammer. Specifically used to pull the inner CV hub from the transmission. I had to be creative in trying to fit the puller in on the drivers side because the transmission cover on the drivers side has raised spots around the CV hub where the tool would normally fit. I had to work up from the bottom at a angle applying a lot of pressure to get this to do the job.

Pros:
Good construction
Good price
Works for most CV inner hub pulling, even if it requires some level of creativity.

Cons:
Fitment for various applications may get interesting due to thickness.

Had a really wedged half shaft that had been wrecked on that side. Outer shaft would not come out of wheel hub, even with pressing tool, and then I got this heavy well made puller and after a couple of hits from the 3lb. slide hammer the inner shaft came out of the transaxle. Great value for a great tool.

this tool does what it is supposed to do. it easily removes cv axles that have internal ring clips. works much better with the extension from otc. at least for my car on the drivers side.
