I have purchased essentially the same wine tags from other sources for twice the $10 cost of the 100 Oenophilia tags (there is another product by the same company for $15 - I didn't see any difference there either???). The tags are small, but adequate + I have over 400 bottles and if the tags were bigger it could cause a space problem; the non-gloss surface makes it easy to write on, but the pen that comes with the set is worthless; the tag hole is too small for Pinot-type bottles, but I simply cut the tag loop and it fits fine; the box they come in is compact, easily stored and accessed. I use the tags only once as I keep the used tags to remind me what I liked and for re-ordering wines. I recommend the tags.

This was what it was advertised to be. Worked great - agree with the one minor complaint about it being too small of a diameter to fit over larger top bottles but I only had that problem on 2 out of nearly 100 bottles, and they still fit over the lip with a little bit of pressure. Each tag has a "red" label on one side and "white" on the other side so a tag can be used for either red or white. Sturdy plastic that can be used again and again.

The opening in these wine tags is too small to fit over the neck of some Burgundy- and Rhone-style bottles. Another 1/32" in diameter is all that is needed, so sandpapering the opening fixes the problem at the cost of some elbow grease.

Some example bottlings for which this problem exists are:
-- Carmel Road 2007 Monterey Pinot Noir
-- Landmark 2008 "Grand Detour" Pinot Noir
-- MacRostie 2007 Carneros Chardonnay
-- Merry Edwards 2009 Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc
-- Turnbull 2006 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Elegant solution to labeling bottles stored in mixed cases or horizontal racks. Like the flip-flop red/white sides (9-out-of-10 of mine use the "red" side). The supplied marker pen is a little clumsy - I prefer a finepoint Sharpie. It's a struggle to get these over the necks of really heavy bottles (also usually the bottles you want the most to have labels). In the last resort I found that cutting the label works although once cut the label is more likely to fall off. Easy to recycle - a light scrub with Ajax (not Comet)will bring the writing clean off. I have now used all 100, a clear signal to drink more, buy less!

Nice, sturdy plastic tags. I do not use the pen that came with as the tags are pretty small so I use an ultra fine point sharpie so I can put all my info on the tag. I do not consider them reusable, but I guess you could use a dry erase marker on them and they would probably clean. I have not tried that. For now, they are keeping my cellar organized and allows me to find a specific bottle without having to pull it from the rack.
I would recommend the product for basic everyday use.

This is a must for those of us who age our wines or who have a collection of wines. Easy to use and wipes clean and ready for next wine bottle (just be sure to use the pens which are included in the package).

Very nice wine tags. Easy to use, nice holding case. Fit most bottles well. Labeled white on one
side and red on anyother so can be used for either and more than once. Would recommend highly. Chris.

These are good looking and substantial. I like that one side says "white" and the other side says"red". That allows us to label the section on the wine rack for each type without needing to write anything. I bought the Berol Mirado china markers to write on these labels. I love them also.

As others have said, these do not fit over all wine bottle necks, but most. My guess is that if they made the opening larger, they might slip off TOO easily. A slightly larger opening might work though. Hint, hint to the designers. :-)

The box is great looking so we don't mind leaving it visible on the wine rack. This is a benefit because it means we always know where they are.
