Great value jersey with lower than average quality

This is the second jersey I've purchased since getting back into cycling. The material is effective at keeping the body cool and the zipper goes down low enough to let extra air in. I'm concerned about the stitching quality after only two weeks of owning it. One of the seams on the rear pockets already started to let a little fabric out. We'll see how long it holds up with weekly riding and washing.

BRIGHT!

This sucker is bright, no I mean really BRIGHT! I would not have had the guts to wear it when I weighed in at 305 pounds. But, it is comfortable. I am 6'3" and 211 pounds, and bought a XXL.
FIts comfortably. You will be seen on the road in this thing, Washes nice, hang up to dry, or just put it back on and go. THe price was great, and the shipping was just a couple bucks. Those were the main reasons I bought it.
If you need a jersey that makes a statement, this is not the one for you.

Nice jersey, great price

Received the jersey a couple of days ago and have used it for the first time. Really like it. Nice size pockets on the back. No grippie rubber strips on the back to keep it from riding up, but that was not a problem. It is made in the USA acording to the label - that's good. I took the advice of another reviewer and ordered a size smaller than I normaly would and it fits great. Less than full length zipper will still allow you to vent out the heat just fine. To my eye, the stitching looks just fine and for the price point, I am very happy.

Beware of the sizes!

I gave this item 3-stars because there was nothing wrong with the quaility of the BDI cycling jersey. I purchased the jersey in X-large size, but what arrived could only fit on a young, thin teenager, not a grown man.

I am six feet tall, weighing about 195 lbs. The X-large was way to small for me, and this was the largest size available.

I've been cycling for years and find that most cycling jerseys are overpriced so finding good quality clothes at a decent price just makes sense. This jersey does fit into that category.

If you are of slight build, this may work for you. Overall, I find that most cycling jerseys are made for smaller frames.

Keep this in mind when you select the size!!

Entry level jersey

You can definitely feel this jersey doesn't have all the form and elegance of a more expensive jersey. However, it's still a great value- fully functional and ready to ride. Only worn it a few times, no real concerns other than some errant threads. I'll update if it starts unravelling.

PROTIP: If you want a jersey on the cheap- check out the Amazon.com Warehouse. You can always find quality jerseys that have an unpopular sports team on them for cheap.

Great, basic

Great, basic, no-nonsense cycling shirt. The fit is just right in XL for me (6'2", 235 lbs.). It is not tight, but not floppy either. I think the amazon photo looks accurate.

The pockets are nice - good bit of elastic at the top, and they are wide, spanning around each side a bit, so they are very easy to reach while riding, and they stay closed well enough that there is no chance my keys or iPhone will fall out.

This shirt is VERY BRIGHT, which I wanted for safety. It is just the right thickness to be pretty cool, allowing a bit of breathing.

Great Jersey

I usually wear XL shirts and I got a 2XL Jersey. I recommend you go up one size when thinking about this shirt.

Performance was better than I expected. I started wearing cotton shirts when I was first started biking and they stuck to me as it rained or I sweated. I took this jersey out yesterday and I noticed that I could feel the wind. I did feel cooler and did not feel wet at all after I started sweating. I would recommend this jersey. I got mine in the "don't run over me orange" because I want to be seen either on the trail or on the road.

Bang for the buck!

This fits somewhat large compared to typical biking jerseys, but let's face it you're not a pro, the wind rippling in the tiny amount of extra fabric didn't cost you anything. And neither did the jersey. A bike jersey that's actually worth the price tag. Stop re-wearing that ugly shirt that had a model year like a car and makes you look like a walking NASCAR advertisement.
