While this is a 2 star review, I have to say that the product is functional, and the same size and shape as described.

However, this recycling bin just looks tacky. The logo is not screen printed directly onto the bin.

No, instead it looks like someone made stickers at home on their computer, and had their 5 year old use safety scissors to cut them and affix them to the bin. It just looks terrible.

Sure, the item was cheap, but I didn't expect an item this crappy looking.

Granted, it's a cheap price point, but even still I was disappointed at the poor quality of this trash can.

I wouldn't describe the plastic as "heavy duty" by any means - the plastic is so thin that it becomes semi-transparent where it bends over at the top to form the lip to the opening.

And as mentioned by other reviewers, the recycling logo is not etched/stamped into the plastic but simply a cheap logo made of paper that has been glued to the side.

You may be better off spending a couple of dollars more and getting a better quality version.

Great construction quality on the bin, the plastic is also thick and of good quality. However, just so you don't get attached, expect the three little arrows that indicate it's a recycling bin to probably fall off within a month of getting it.

I ordered one of these on my own account for home, and ordered three through my work account for three departments. All of the stickers fell off pretty quickly. Which isn't a problem unless you're trying to encourage employees and kids to recycle and the sticker indicating the bins purpose falls off....

Also, why the high price? I come through Amazon to cut out the retailer middle man price and get good deals. I ended up getting it because it would be delivered in two days.... so really my Prime Membership is what completed this purchase.

The logo is actually a cheap sticker that was completely off-center and leaves residue behind when removed, along with another company sticker on the side of the wastebasket that also leaves residue behind.

The picture is not accurate. It is much shorter in reality.

I'm considering just throwing this piece of junk out.

It's a pretty standard tall-kitchen-bag sized wastebasket. It's a bit small if you need to recycle boxes from amazon though.

My only complaint about this product is that the sticker of the Recycle Symbol (The three arrows) is a very poor quality sticker. The adhesive sticker was already peeling off the wastebasket when I received it new out of the box from Amazon, and continues to peel off.
I finally had to use Krazy Glue to get the damn thing to stay on. (The wastebasket itself is fine.)

This bin is the perfect size for the standard trash bags you buy at the store (13 gallon). MANY other trash bins on Amazon are not the right size for 13 gallon bags. In fact, it surprises me how difficult it is to buy a bin that fits. They're either too big (and the bag always falls down into the bin) or too small (but too large to use grocery bags as trash bags). This one is, as Goldilocks puts it, "just right."

I needed a recycling bin so it was helpful. Its pretty sturdy and big as well. I still think almost $20 is ridiculous to pay for a plastic bin, but it was one of the better options that I could fine. I do like the bright blue and the recycling logo on it; makes it clear that it is for RECYCLING only!
