This is my 3rd tube, and it seems to be shinier than the first. I'm over 50 and it accentuates the inner corners of my eyelidsloss of elasticity if I don't cover with shadow powder well. Still like it (I'm a blonde working in a humid environment - no breaks), would be better for someone who checks their makeup more frequently.

This "primer" is very sparkly and not a neutral color at all. It didn't go on smooth, so it was hard to apply eyeshadow on top of (which is the whole point of primer, no?). I won't be using this again...

it does what it says but for me it is way too much shimmer. other reviews note that it is difficult to apply but if you use other eyelid primers, at least the ones that really work to prevent creases, they are all sort of hard to apply until you do it a few times. with practice it is much easier, you get the technique down with time. you can cover the extreme shimmer with matte shadow to help but I cant wear it on its own.

This is a must for those of us with oily lids and you eye shadow comes off. I use these also alone when i want out the door quickly. Not the brightening. This is the dull primer not the one you can wear alone. Disappointed. First I ordered two, then I was contacted there was only one but reimbursed. It does not even day brightening on the package. I ordered this bc it's discontinued.
