The Luxor LUXHL14 laundry hamper arrived promptly and assembly was required. The instructions were poorly written and illustrated. The product was manufactured in China.

The top frame which holds the canvas bag was about 1/4" too narrow, such that the holes for the bolts did not line up. In order to get it together, I had to drill out one of the holes in each handle and force the bolts in at an angle.

The steel frame was lighter weight than I was expecting.

Overall, the quality was deficient for a $150 product.

After the modification to the holes in the handle, the hamper will suit our needs -- to catch laundry for a family of five at the base of a laundry chute. I would not pay the same price again for this product.

The first time I received this hamper the top bars could not be attached. The frame appeared to be more narrow than the connecting bars and as a result I returned the item. Oddly enough, the same problem occurred with my re-order...not sure if both are defective or I received the same one twice but I will not be making this mistake a third time. Looks like a new brand is in order!

I love the durability and volume of this bin! Finally I can fit all my family's dirty clothes in the laundry room at once! However, it's wider than I expected, and doesn't fit well in my small laundry room, so check your dimensions! Bonus...the wide metal bar wrapped in the canvas makes a fantastic place to drape your handwash to dry.

The laundry cart arrived in a timely manner, and - with the invaluable help of my five-year-old son - was a breeze to put together. After having tested its usability as a spaceship (excellent!), we've placed it in our basement, where it will collect our clothes at the bottom of a laundry chute, which we've had built as part of house renovation project. The cart is light, yet sturdy. The wheels can swivel with thanks to ball-bearings (another learning opportunity for a five-year-old!), and are protected using rubber bumper rings. The cloth laundry container, whose internal surfaces are covered with a thin layer of protective moisture barrier, is attached to the frame using strong velcro strips, to enable removal for cleaning.

My overall impressions of this product are very high. It seems well-designed, well-built, and should last a long time when used at home or a business.

Its a huge time saver as everything is at arms reach exactly where and when you need it. I used to have to make 4 or 5 trips to arm carry everything. Easily moved to the storeroom when not in use.
