I have naturally curly hair and several different types of hair all on one head. Some of my hair is super fine, some of it is super thick. About 25% of my hair is silver and another 10% is white - then dark brown for the rest. With the pattern of white and silver hair growing in on the sides, the last thing I need is to have the frizzies and look like the Bride of Frankenstein! I used to use mousse all the time when my hair was shorter, but I discovered it clumped my hair in a way that a lot of my scalp was visible. I grew my hair out longer and the mousse just doesn't work right. This serum by Tigi Bed Head helps control the frizzies. On very humid days, it tames my hair just enough so I don't look electrocuted. Even with a full head of thick, curly hair, I discovered that less is more with this product. It's very thick and has a high viscosity. Just a dab in my hand about the size of a nickel to the size of a quarter is enough. I only use it when my hair is wet from the shower. I first brush my hair to get everything pointed in the right direction - then I rub the dollop from my hand into my hair. I use a fine toothed comb to work it through to the layers of hair and it really helps my hair look civilized. I discovered that if I use too much, I get white flaky deposits. I've seen some other reviewers cite this - it's simply due to using too much. Unless you have hair down to your ankles and you're going to work this through your entire head of hair to the ends, anything more than a quarter-sized dollop is too much - and if you have shorter than shoulder-length hair, a dime to nickel's worth is about all you need to get it to work right. The smell is very pleasant - almost like Granny Smith Apples - but it doesn't linger. The scent dissipates after it dries.

We use this product on my son's shaggy, wavy hair to tame the frizz and keep his locks under control. It really works great! We have tried many different products to keep the frizz under control, and this one seems to do the trick. It is the consistency of a gel, has a bit of a sparkle to it, which my son thinks is fun, and it smells nice too! This product leaves his hair soft, not crunchy, but still frizz free. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that it doesn't seem to hold throughout the day. By the time he gets home from school his hair is a bit frizzy and puffy, but t could be that he's running around like crazy. If you are looking for something to tame the frizz,​ I'd definitely give this one a try.

This product doesn't leave a feeling of residue on my hair [although I usually shampoo every other day] and gives me best control without using ceramic straightener [I do use blow dryer]. I was introduced to this product by a hair salon that I went to on Newbury St in Boston for the past ten years. It works great putting in your hair while it is still wet to let it try naturally curly or before blow drying straight. This is also by far the cheapest price I have paid in 10yrs. Prices range from $17-$20 in stores. You won't find a better product or price.

Matter of fact, you hardly know its on your hair once it dries. But it still holds well all day. I apply when my hair is wet, after showering. Never use a hair dryer, just brush it through. When my hair dries, it is soft and smooth with no trace of any sticky or tacky residue.

I live in a super humid climate and have wavy fine frizzy hair. It looks very nice when it's not a mass of hideous frizz, which is rare.

I have tried numerous products for this problem, the most recent of which is argan oil which works well for this but wasn't the entire solution I was seeking. So I tried this, having noticed for a long time the pretty packaging and colors of this brand.

This works very well and my frizz problem is about 85% improved. It works slightly better than argan oil for frizz. I took off one star since it has a very strong chemical smell when I apply it which is sickening to me, although I've read that some people like it. This also imparts no shine. This makes my hair feel light and fluffy and soft, something I actually do not like since my hair is like that anyway. I have applied freeze gel to my hair to make it stiffer and hold the style. This makes it fly around more.

That smell of this takes a few hours to fade out. You only need a tiny amount of this, less than dime sized, so this bottle should last a long time. I think it's expensive for what it is. I like it and it definitely improved my frizz problem.

If I blow dry my hair it's ok but I wanted it to be able to let my hair dry naturally. The reason I bought the product was to be able to let my hair dry naturally and to take out the frizz. I want to be able to run my fingers through my hair after the product has dried and it feel natural but instead it feels heavy and sticky.

I use it daily, but have to admit I have yet really decided if this product does anything for my hair at all. I don't see much control or change in body.

I don't have the sticky issue, or crunchy hair, some have mentioned, no bad smell, just unsure. I also use a lot of the product, compared to the small dime size, I use probably at least a quarter size, and I have no residue or any other issues.
