I need to get my sled in and out of the garage and move it around without chipping and scratching the concrete with the carbides. I purchased these because I needed something sturdier than my previous 4 caster wheeled type dollies. Their wheels kept breaking...
After using the Big Wheels for a couple months now, in contrast, the Extreme Max Big Wheels dollies are very sturdy, roll well and stay under the skis well using the cable attachments.
I chose the standard sized dollies after talking to the manufacturer re whether they would fit my 6.9 Pilot skis that are 7 in. wide. They said they would and they do indeed. The other benefit of the standard sized ones at the time I purchased mine, was that the at that time the wide version didn't come with the push pin/washer wheel retention system that the standard sized ones did.
The only drawback I have found is that in my garage I need to scoot the sled sideways into it's "parking" space, and since the wheels aren't caster style and are oriented in the direction of the ski - the dollies don't allow me to do that too well. But, I make do, and it isn't any fault of the design certainly - just an individual usage issue.
Awesome product!

Moving snowmobiles around the garage or shop easily without damaging the concrete is always a challenge. I tried hardwood dollies from Harbor Freight and also cheaper snowmobile dollies with poor results. While they move snowmobiles OK on concrete, they are a bear to get positioned under the snowmobile ski's. First you lift the snowmobile ski's and try to push the dollies under the ski with one of your feet. They once it is under the ski, somehow wedge your foot in front of the dolly while you lower the ski, hoping the dolly does not shoot out from under the ski. Once positioned, you have to hope you don't hit a small rock which will cause the dolly to come flying out from under the ski, starting the process again.

These Extreme Max Shop Dollies cannot be easier to get under the snowmobile ski's. Put the attached dolly cable over the ski, lift the ski, and the dolly falls right in place, every time. Once there, it stays in place due to the front (or front/back) cable and the metal sides. Easy to move around the garage and they always stay in place. Want to drive the snowmobile out of the garage onto snow or gravel? No problem, they stay in place. Removal of these dollies is just as easy, lift the ski, the dolly comes forward, ready to be removed.

I have ordered two of these dollies for my snowmobiles and love them anytime I have to move a snowmobile in/out of the garage or around the garage. Save yourself a lot of effort and aggravation by spending a little more and getting the best snowmobile dollies on the market

Boyfriend bought these for his snowmobiles after fighting with regular ones for years. The regular ones you just set the snowmobile on and he would constantly have to put them back under the snowmobile as they would come out from under it if you hit any bumps when moving the snowmobile. He loves them and loves that they stay on especially since he is always pulling them out and cleaning or working on them. These make that soooo much easier. He also loves that he can load his snowmobiles alone now bc he used to have to have others help him lift it into our truck bed. He liked them so much he bought another set for his other snowmobile.

Very cool product good construction and work very well! Better then I expected. They up dated and fixed a few issues so disregard lots of beg reviews. The only thing I do not like is there are no bearing on the wheels pretty much with enough use the wheels will wear and need to be replaced.

These work pretty well. I've driven the sled into the garage over a 1" lip with no issues. The track dolly would be a lot nicer if it was three or four wheels instead of just one, but it works fine once you get the sled set on it correctly.

These replaced a borrowed set of wooden dollies and are a great improvement since the sled can be driven the block and a half down the city street to the trail entrance without burning up the carbides.

The wheels are now secured on the axle with a heavy duty hair pin cotter so the bad reviews related to the end caps popping off should be history. If the cotter pins would break, they'd be easy enough to replace with a trip to the hardware store. So far so good and if anything changes, I'll update the review.

Very good for moving your snowmobile around without ruining your driveway and saving carbides. Be aware that these are not for high speed or long distance riding. Good for a few blocks at low speeds. They say 5 mph. They do not climb obstacles such as a curbs or even a raised driveway slab. They can be a pain to put on, be sure to follow directions, and they are bulky in case you need to carry them on your sled. But overall a good buy and very useful.

There is a learning curve with these. Once you figure out how to properly place them, they seem to work well. They are well made and beefy. I am leery about driving onto the trailer with them, but they did drive around the yard nicely.
