string is dangerous for cats & we find that many guests at our kennel easily unwrap these mice & they leave about 2' long string that would be bowel obstruction/choaking hazard to cats

We have two cats and they both LOVE these silly mice. My only complaint at all is that each mouse has it's own tag and plastic piece that have to be cut off before giving them to pets. If you pull it off, the ear or material of the mouse easily unravels and comes off but during play, our cats have yet to pull off an ear or eye. They are not super high quality but having so many makes that tolerable because we just throw them out when they start to get ratty or if they have a lose piece. They rattle, which is hard to find in cat toys and are just loud enough to get the cats attention and get them excited to chase it or dig it out from under something! They're heavy enough that they can be thrown across the room for cats who fetch, like ours, but light enough that they can also be carried around in their mouths or batted at for hours and not damage anything in the process.

I know that this product was intended for resale, but at this price, it's worth the trouble of having to get down on my hands and knees every 10 seconds to fish a mouse out from the couch or under the oven!! We keep piles of them in different places all over the house so whenever kitty loses one and starts getting into trouble, we just toss her another! They keep us just as entertained, we love them!

My cat, Khaleesi, didn't like these as much as the Zanies furry toy mice. I still have about two-thirds of the can on top of a shelf in my pantry. I wouldn't buy this particular product again, but maybe some other Zanies products.

My old vet used to give us one of these little mice for each of my cats on every visit. My cats absolutely LOVE them! They play with the little mice hours. They play with them so much that the cord eventually comes lose and I have to throw them away (for their safety). One of my cats, who has some minor brain damage stemming from a run-in with a car, talks to the little mice. I'm not sure what they discuss, but she seems stimulated by the conversation. After we moved a few years ago and had to change vets, I looked everywhere but could not find these little mice in any pet store. After several years of looking, I had pretty much given up. We got down to only two little mice left and then I stumbled on this canister of the little boogers. YAY!!! I am absolutely thrilled and my cats will be beside themselves, for a long time to come, with all the new mice.
