I'm very impressed with this product. No BS, no exaggerated claims. Just a spacious polycarbonate trunk with double clasps that will accept standard locks. Will it survive a determined thief with blowtorch? No. But that's not its job. Load it enough to make it impossible for a quick 2-person carry, add a couple of decent locks, and it will be where you left it when you return. I'd buy it again (if I just had more stuff).

Very durable with sturdy hinge for lid. Needed a simple, lockable, waterproof box to bolt to the floor of my Grizzly Tracker Boat.
Product dimensions 32" wide/long and 15 inches front to back (height is about 13.5 inches). Although the lid does not have any special seal, when closed it does not allow water in. This is rugged enough to sit, stand or jump on. Inside you have about 14" width and 12" of height. Latch is good and strong and will work well with a medium sized padlock. Drilled 4 holes in bottom of chest and mounted to floor of boat. Product is durable and can be used as a seat, table, etc. This product seems expensive for it's size and simplicity but I have been unable to find any similar chests/storage (others were either too big or have cheesy hinges that can easily bust off/break) that have my size constraints and waterproof/durability that this box has.

The box is tough but the lock hasp isn't. I was in a serious accident and the box survived but the lock ring (is that the proper name?) popped off. I will probably drill out the rivets and replace it with something stronger.

Sturdy, but not as long as I would have liked and not well sealed for wet weather. Lockable hinges are poor quality and are basically only to keep honest people out.
