The blue color disappeared with the first wash of the stuffed animal. This was fine with me as the eyes of my daughter's beloved stuffed bunny were originally brown. However, if you are counting on the blue color, do not wash it even once.

I recently started knitting Teddy Bears, and took the advice of fellow knitters on Knitting Paradise website to purchase Suncatcher eyes. I have "installed" them in one Teddy so far, with hopefully more to come in the future. I was able to match the color of the eyes with the yarn that I used, and am pleased with the result. I would recommend this product to other crafts people.

These are absolutely my most favorite eyes to use when making teddy bears. They come in beautiful shades of blue and they make the teddy bears really come to life! The child-safety mechanism is not my favorite, but I've tested many of them out and they really do seem to stay on nicely. My only complaint is that I wish I could buy them in bulk because they are so wonderful! :)
