Well, this is probably the best price an individual will get for this light. The fit is great. the only reason i do not give it five stars is because it is hard on the bolts going in. You may want to hit the holes with a tap before installing the part, and that will make the bolts go in better. As it is, the plastic is so strong the bolts will overheat and snap as they cut their own threads. A better design would have been to mold in metal screw threads, but techs would be able to tear that up too lol. All in all, a good deal, better than the GM house's price, and makes the light output be back to factory brightness.

I bought the Left and Right. If both were installed on the car I would have had two different looking parking lens when lit, and when off. I returned the faulty lens and the replacement was perfectly fine. I have the Trans Am and used the Wagner BP3457NALL long life Krypton gas bulbs available on Amazon, slightly brighter than the 3157 bulbs.

While both setting side by side on the workbench I noticed one lens was much darker inside than the other. Inspection inside with a flashlight showed the darker lens was the issue. The chrome coating inside was so thin you could see the gray plastic underneath. This chrome coating in the Right lens was almost non existent in those major areas intended to reflect the majority of light (sides, top, bottom). The coating was so thin it basically had no reflection capabilities. This is why it looked darker from the front view, just the gray plastic inside.

BOLT CAUTION: As mentioned in another review, bolt heads can snap off. The lenses are made of very hard plastic. When inserting the bolts they get very tight when they get towards the bottom, bolt head can snap off. It's recommended you drill out the hole to make it slightly bigger - also insert some lube. I had a bolt head break off during test fitting...be careful.

GM OEM LENS COMPARISON: It should be noted the design of these lenses are better than original GM lenses. The clear face of the lens is now all ONE piece. The GM lens has two seams in the middle, one seam on each side of the middle section (notice different pattern). The plastic expands and contracts due to weather, these seams in the middle open up, which is where water leaks inside.

ADDITIONAL SEALING: There is a small gap between the clear lens face and gray plastic body.Read more ›

Great price for this product. Came in very shiny and glowed brilliantly.

Two bad things are that the holes for the screws are not pre-drilled. I broke off my screws trying to screw them in to the product. Pre-drilling is a must for these!

The second bad thing is that after a few months it looks like cracks have developed in the lights.

I had to replace my old ones because they cracked and water was getting in the shorting out my turn signal bulbs. It appears that these have cracked too and pretty soon after I installed them. Not sure if it is because of the product or a combination of the weather or my driving.

But price wise you can't beat the deal.
