This shirt is very nice looking, Very good quality and well made. I made the mistake of listening to what people said about the shirt being a size too small. I pretty much always wear a medium and people commented on getting a large instead. That is what I did and the shirt would have floated its way off of me in the water. It's so puffy on the sleeves. I had to exchange it for a small because I do like a snug fit for this type of shirt. I'm 5'3'' 135lbs and size 34B if it can help anybody choose the size.

I love the rash guard and read many reviews mostly advising me to buy 1-2 sizes larger than my usual size. I am 5'1", 105 lb and started with a medium, then exchanged it for a small, then exchanged it for an x-small. My recommendation is that if you are not big busted or big boned, then go for your usual size.

Despite reading previous reviews I found this item tough to
judge sizing. I am 132 lbs, 5'7", 34A bra. Small or medium? NEITHER!!
Large was the one for me- fit like a glove!

Good shirt and decent price. I bought it for ocean sports. HERE IS THE DEAL ON THE FIT: I think it runs slightly big. Based on the reviews, I originally ordered a medium, then had to order the small and extra small because the medium was soooo large. I kept the extra small, but wished that it fit a little snugger so the shirt would not ride up on me while doing ocean sports. To put it in perspective, in junior-sized clothing I would wear a small or medium (department stores or like forever 21), in women's clothing (department store or gap) I'd wear a small or extra small.

The size you get really depends on what kind of fit you want. For activewear and ocean sports, you want a tight/snug fit because you want the shirt to stay in place. I am 5'3 and about 125lbs and I wished that the extra small was a little more snug around my waist/lower stomach so it wouldn't flip up in the waves (size of shoulders/neck were okay). The length of the shirt was fine... covered the tops of my low riding bikini bottoms. If you want this shirt to fit like a regular baby tee or t-shirt that you would wear out and about (basically you are only using it for sun protection and want it loose), then order your regular size or a size up... it will be looser fitting. If you want it very fitted and snug (i.e. how it should be for this type of shirt if used for water sports), order down a size.

Since this is a rash "tee" it has a looser fit than the same company's rash "guard". My normal t-shirt size is a large and I ordered this in an extra-Large so I could wear it over my bathing suit top when snorkeling. The fit was snug enough to swim in, but not so tight that it showed very line of my bathing suit underneath. The Riviera color is pretty.

This is a great rash guard. It is thick and runs true to size. It is fitted, but no need to order a size up unless you want it a little bit looser. My daughter wears a small and we ordered a medium, it is a bit big. She is thin though. Very happy with this purchase!

I love this shirt. I usually wear a medium, but ordered a large based on other reviews saying that these can run small. The large fit perfectly without being too tight. I would say, unless you are fairly thin with a small bust, going up a size is probably a safe bet. I'm a 36D and this fit well over my swimsuit. I'd originally bought this item to use while snorkeling on vacation but wound up using it almost the whole time at the beach as I'd stupidly burned myself early on. It saved my skin and allowed me to enjoy the beach and water without worrying about burning my skin even further. It also dries very quickly and felt good on my burned skin, no chaffing or anything. For what it's worth, I can highly recommend it!
