Bought a used (like new) version of these boots as I am in the process of trying several for fishing, running, and hiking in cold weather. I have been extremely happy thus far.

FIT: Small/True to Size
If I had a decision I would have bought an 8 not a 9 based on these reviews (I wear an 8.5/9). (9 does fit but I like my shoes as snug as possible.) There are some complaints about the big toe being too short here. I have a nubby big toe and don't have this problem, but looking at the construction it appears that really the (4th toe area is longer than usual). Some people's 4th toe is longer than their big toe, so it looks like O'Neill left a little breathing room here to accommodate different shaped feet. I would say if you want the best fit, select true to size so it fits your big toe (where size is measured) but anticipate some extra space in the other toes. That was the only drawback to this shoe.

DURABILITY: A
I run in this shoe, after about 50 miles on pavement and two fishing trips it shows no wear. The feel of the road is better than most barefoot shoes (which are 2x the price). I am definitely happy with how this shoe has held up.

FEEL: A
I was concerned that I would have a difficult time getting these on and off. Not the case. They are snug enough to stay in place when waterlogged and I am running yet go on and off easily because the Neoprene is super stretchy. The rubber on the bottom is a good mix between feel and protection. I have no problem running across gravel in these puppies, but I do have built up foot durability.

Construction Quality: A
They are made well. I beat the crap out of them and they haven't fallen apart. For inexpensive boots you can't beat that.

I am a size 5.5 to 6 normally in women's shoes, and the size 5 in these fit perfectly. Snug enough to not allow extra air/water in and stretches to help you put them on. I like the split toe style since it gives me more maneuverability. Pretty good traction on the bottom as well. I used these for surfing and paddle surfing and would recommend this brand. Much better quality than some of the other brands I have tried.

These boots are pretty comfy. I ordered a few different sizes (8, 9, and 10) because I was unsure of what would fit best. I ended up going with the 10s. I normally wear size 8.5-9 so I thought the 9 might fit well but it was a little snug. The 8 was way to small. The 10 was much more spacious and easier to get into and out of, which is why I went with it. Also, there's a little more give at the toe box, which I was afraid of with the 9s not having as much (it might have started getting uncomfortable, stubbed toes, etc after a bit of walking). I've used these several times for surf fishing and they work pretty well. They do get a little heavy when water gets inside, but they do a good job "protecting" my feet (although, probably not if you step on a stingray!). The velcro straps could be better but they do help with keep some water out and more importantly sand. Some sand will get in but not uncomfortable amounts.

So far so good. Hopefully they hold up for a while.

UPDATE: I've taken these out several more times and they do really well on sandy beaches. They're definitely uncomfortable walking around on rocks and rocky beaches though, so I would advise against that - very little support, which is fine since aqua socks are not that much better. I tried 'surf' fishing around super rocky (5-8" sized smooth stones) shoreline in Baja and it was painful.

I have owned many pairs of these O'Neill booties using them for surfing, standup paddling, and windsurfing. A pair lasts about a year with consistent use. They have saved my feet from the rocks and from cold without impacting the feel of the board under my feet. Highly recommended...

I used these for sand sports, during cold weather. They kept my feet nice and toasty in temps in the 40s. They kept water out, but since my feet sweat so much, it also kept moisture in :P Also, although this is not listed under the intended uses, I tested these out as barefoot running shoes, and they performed surprisingly well. I've owned vibrams, ninjas, sockwas, etc..., and these appear to our perform them all, except for the obvious lack of breathability, but that's expected from scuba booties. Lol. I recommend these for pretty much any water/sand activity.

I wear a Ladies 11.5 / Mens 10.5 shoe and the size 10 bootie fits snugly without being uncomfortable. No rush of cold water seeping in through the seams. I I look forward to seeing how they hold up. I don't know if the Velcro calf strap really does anything since the top of the boot is under my wetsuit.

I really like these booties. Only reason for the 3 star is the fastening velcro at the top of the bootie is almost useless. Doesn't stay fastened. Other than that these are a nice and comfortable pair of wetsuit booties.

I received these boots quickly and they looked fine, but the seem was off on the toe of one boot and it was very uncomfortable. I requested an exchange and it was completed without any issues. I received the new pair two days later and returned the original pair with an Amazon prepaid label that was provided.

The new boots fit great and are very comfortable. If I had received the 2nd pair first this would have been a 5 star review. I would recommend this product.
