These are great for use as custom bump stops, can be cut down for shorter applications, or left long for a softer bottoming experience. I use them on a lot of custom suspension jobs, and have had a set on the back of my Tacoma for a couple years with great results. The 3/8" stud makes attachment easy, and they're a great value for polyurethane bumps too.

I was not able to match the existing threads in the coil tower. Ran a drill up through there to open the holes a little bit and bolted it in place. Lenght is perfect for 2.5 inch OME/1.25 JKS lift systems with 33 inch tires. Seems tough and should last, good value.

Great product and easy to install on my Jeep Wrangler. I thought this was going to be a difficult replacement but it turned out to be very easy. The hardest part was figuring out how to remove the old worn out factory bump stops. This is simple, Just get a screw driver and pry out the old stop. The bolt is on the inside housing and you unscrew through the bottom. There is no nut on the top! Once you clean all the dirt and rock out of the upper cylinder you can use a mirror to look down into it. Once you pull the old assembly off these will slide right between the springs with little effort. They are pre lubed so they are very slick. I only jacked up the front end and the coil springs stretched plenty with the weight of the tire to easily slide them between. One thing to note is if you don't have a lift you will need to cut these off to fit properly. I did it easily with a hacksaw after measuring what I needed. You need to do this before you slide the whole thing in or you will have to pull it back out. You can try and press these into the old crimped housing that came from the factory. Good luck with that! I mounted them without that part. They look great and are made very durable so I doubt they will need to be replaced anytime soon. When installing these, they will screw in from the bottom into the bottom of the cylinder. I would advise putting the nut that comes with it on. Just use some paper in your socket to hold the nut from falling out and it works great.

These are very good, but their is an answer on here that is NOT correct, one answer stated that the bump stop portion was 4 inches long, that is NOT correct they are almost 5 inches long! I sent a picture next to ruler showing the 5 inch length.
They are a good product and can be cut to fit if too long. They are very strong.
I recomend them

SOOOOO much easier than trying to push ordinary bumps into the rusted cups. Spent three hours trying to do it the old way with no success. Bought these, and installed both within half an hour. So much easier

I installed these on the front of my 2004 Rubicon. The stock bump stops are crimped in and I just pulled them out to the side. You can then remove the bolt that is inside the cup and remove the cup. The threads on the Daystar were the same and screwed right in. I had to dig the sand and mud out of the top to get the lock nut on. Put a layer of paper towel inside a deep well socket to hold the nut from falling out as you feed it down from the top, then tighten.

They thread right into the OEM holes on my son's TJ. We scraped out the old bumpstops with a screwdriver, and removed the factory bolt, and popped this right in with some blue thread lock. Good to go.
