I have been crocheting for 40+ years and am a pencil hold crocheter.
My favorite hook has always been the Susan Bates with INLINE HEAD. After reading
the reviews of the Tulip Etimo, I bought a set and found them comfortable
and with a little practice, easy to use. Since my set didn't include a B and C size,
I bought them separately. I was disappointed when I tried the B and C.
First, there is very little difference in the size of B and C, if they
were not labeled, I don't think I could tell them apart. Second, the shank gets larger
too soon. It's hard for me to maintain the proper guage, unless I keep the yarn from
sliding up the hook more than 1/2 inch while crocheting. So, I love the larger hooks
in the set, with medium yarn, but not so much with the smaller hooks and fine yarn.
(I wish Susan Bates made a similar cushioned hook, can't use their bamboo handle hooks.)

This is a decent crochet hook. I just finished a wrap with it using laceweight yarn, so I feel qualified to really weigh in with my opinion about this crochet hook. It's decent. It gets the job done. That said, it's not as ergonomic as it looks. I think they could have made the barrel of the crochet hook, the padded part, wider in diameter. That would make for a more comfortable crochet experience.

I tried Tulip Etimo, Addi Swing and Clover Soft Touch hooks, and Tulip Etimo comes out in the middle for me. It feels comfortable to hold, but because it has sharpish indentation on the handle, after a while it starts hurting the skin, so while it is nice on my wrists, it creates a new problem. Clover Soft Touch is a winner for me, and I think I will stick with them. I have to mention, that I use pencil hold, not sure how it would feel if you use knife hold.
