I purchased 3 of these planter boxes to sit on our back porch railing. I plan on growing various herbs and onions in them and I think they will be perfect. The planter feels substantial, though the plastic is thin it does not feel cheap or like it would break.
The only thing I would note is that the color is different than pictured. I was expecting more of a darker hunter green, but it is really more of a lighter grayish green. Not really an issue, just worth noting if you are really set on having a dark green color. If I have any issues with growing things in them, I will be sure to update this review.

Fits perfectly on my window sill. Was worried about having to drill drainage holes as some other reviewers commented, but all it took is a bit of pushing with a flat head screwdriver to get the perforated circles out.

I have five screened windows on my porch and these were a perfect fit. I am impressed the most with the color. They are a deep rich but subtle thyme green. Excellent quality for the price. I highly recommend them if you like rich looking green colors.

I purchased the planter and it's matching tray. Very high quality and a handsome design. I only complaint was the planter had no drain hole as shipped. It did have two knockouts but they had to be cut out with a sharp utility knife and the holes were quite large so the potting soil can wash out. I would buy more.

Love the color! Thyme Green is pleasing to me, enhancing the greens of the surrounding trees and the plants it holds. I like the look of it sitting inside my black metal plant holders. I'm also of the opinion that this subdued color serves to detract from the fact that the planters are plastic, (albeit a good quality plastic) which was originally an 'aesthetic' concern of mine.

The only difficulty I had in selecting this product was not knowing if the planter (with its upper lip) would fit perfectly into the Planter Holders I previously purchased for my balcony railing ledge. Its all good. I would buy this item again.

Price increase will prohibit me from purchasing more. The two pieces increase the price almost $7 which is more than I am willing to spend for something as this. It is nice, sturdy, but I don't think it is worth the price. I am sure I can come up with something much more attractive for $44.00 a yard.(which is what the two pieces are together)

As soon I got this the next day hurried up and put soil in the Fiskars 52424 -24-inch terra box planter and put bok choi seeds in to plant them 2 weeks later it sprouted ! I rated this a 5 star because it came on time and the costumer service is good .
