I just happened to pick this coffeecake up at a local grocery store. I hadn't heard anything about it but I had tried other Krusteaz products I liked.

I love this coffeecake (but it isn't helping my thigh circumference any). It makes a sweet, moist coffeecake with caramelly edges. I made it in an 8x8x2 pan and it came out perfect, using package instructions.

There are a couple of extra steps that aren't normally on a box mix, involving splitting the cake mix and the topping mix into two equal parts, then dotting/sprinkling the second half on top of the first half and swirling in circles with a knife to get a cinnamon swirl coffeecake. Easy peasy!

This is a good cake to have with coffee and fruit for breakfast; a great afternoon snack; or dessert at any time.

Some assembly required! KRUSTEAZ CINNAMON CRUMB CAKE & MUFFIN MIX tastes good, but requires more preparation steps than you expect from a cake or muffin mix. If you're making crumb cake, you have to layer the cake mix and crumb topping, swirl the batter with a knife, and then sprinkle on a final layer of crumb topping. If you're making muffins, you have to fold half the crumb topping into the cake mix, and then sprinkle the remaining crumb topping on top.

My husband loved these. I loved the cake part, but felt that the cinnamon/sugar/crumb topping was too sweet. However, you can't really go wrong with Krusteaz mixes, particularly Krusteaz Banana Nut Muffin Mix) and Krusteaz Cranberry Orange Supreme Muffin Mix.

For a crumb cake or 12 standard muffins, you need one egg, 2/3 cup water, and one package of the mix. My muffins took a couple more minutes than the package directions called for, when I used the convection oven setting on an electric range. I purchased this particular Krusteaz cake/muffin mix at my local grocery store.

I found this mix on the shelves of Safeway 6 months ago, and made it. Since then, this has become our old-time favorite Crumb Cake & Muffin Mix. In simple terms, it's absolutely delicious. When I noticed the 4-Pack here on Amazon, I ordered early, for the holiday season. However, this is our favorite for any-time.

It's so easy to make, with just 2 ingredients, and I've made both the Cake & Muffins from the mix. Bake time is less than 1 hour, and the sweet aroma while baking makes you very happy this is what's cooking.

My daughter loves it as much as I, and I'm so glad to find the 4-Pack, because it has already run out in my grocery store. In addition, this is a Good price for a 4-Pack. Great for the holidays or any-time, easy to make, delicious & Good price. Highly recommended!

This muffin mix is a lot more affordable for me and my family, since I have to pinch pennies wherever I can. I subtracted one star, however, because I miss the real blueberries that come in the more expensive brand. So, when blueberries are in season, I toss a cup of them into my batter and the muffins are very good! Also, the streusel topping, which is just brown sugar, adds an extra sweetness to the muffins.

Visitors, including our parents, our college-senior daughter and her friends, and all the kids on our teen son's volleyball team, get 'upset' if we do not have these readily available when they visit. This crumb cake smells wonderful when baking, and both the taste and texture exceed the expectation that the wonderful baking fragrance sets you up for. Crispy on the top yet soft and full of cinnamon on the inside.

Making this crumb cake is easy -- preheat the oven to 350, mix the batter, spread half the batter into a 9 x 9 pan, scatter 1/3 of the cinnamon mix over the batter, spread the remaining half of the batter over the mixture, scatter 1/3 of the cinnamon mix over it all, swirl the mixture with a flat edge to meld the cinnamon and batter together, then scatter the last of the cinnamon over the top. Cook about 45 minutes.

Delicious! Crispy on the outside, but soft & moist on the inside. We recommend Krusteaz Crumb Cake mix and think you will enjoy it as much as we do. Enjoy!

My college roommate introduced me to New York style crumb cake some eons ago. This Krusteaz cake mix is the closest thing to it. It is moist with delicious crumb texture and just all around superb. Roommate even tried it and thought the same.

I actually picked this up in the store because I knew I wouldn't have time to make my grandmother's crumb cake recipe for a ladies' brunch. My family loves the Krusteaz brand including the corn bread and muffins so it seemed like a safe bet. I wasn't disappointed. The crumb cake was such a hit with our group that just about everyone asked for the recipe and were shocked to discover it was a mix.

What I like...
-The taste is great. It's not grandma's but very close!
-The calories and fat are reasonable. I was expecting a lot worse and was pleasantly surprised compared to many pre-made versions. (210 calories and 5g fat for about 1/12 of the cake)
-All you need is water and an egg. Need I say more?

What I don't like...
-I only wish that there was a little more indication on the box as to a "done-ness test" to know when to take it out of the oven.

Overall, though, my family is hooked and we bought the 4-pack because it's a great value and having this mix on hand is a great dessert for unexpected company or a treat on Sunday morning.
