This is larger than I thought, but I've found often things usually seem larger when in your hand compared to just reading the description. It's also very solid, has some heft to it. Not something that will get bounced around the desktop or countertop easily.

I like how it opens - top and bottom separate by rotating them slightly in opposite directions, and come apart easily. Bottom part has a circular column over a spring, about 3/4 of an inch around. That's what pushes against the bottom of your post-it notes.

Goes back together easily, and notes do get pulled out of it well, I've had nothing get stuck.

Bottom also has an anti-skid surface to keep it steady wherever it sits.

Nice looking, solid and well designed. Definitely a winner for me.

I saw one very similar to this at Wal-mart but that did not have a weighted base. This one on Amazon has a weighted base and that makes a huge difference. Spend a few more bucks and get this dispenser so it stays in place while using it!

Note - you need special post-it's to work with this, they have to be the 'accordion' style of post-it's. If you want to get post-it's with this, make sure they are the accordion style. Other than that, this is a great product!

My wife saw this in a store and she fell in love, so I got it for her office. It dispenses the pop-up style Post-It notes with ease. Just make sure you buy the right kind of refill pads (not the normal ones) as this does take a special type. It's a great conversation starter for her co-workers and a fun novelty desk item. The leather seems like it will hold up over time. It's actually weighted pretty well so it doesn't wobble around when you're pulling a note out.

This is a cute dispenser designed exclusively for use with Post-it Pop-up Notes, the kind that are connected zig-zag style (below, I've shared a tip for using it with other stickies). The bottom portion of the dispenser is a dark purplish-pink. It's heavily weighted so that there's no need to hold it while pulling out a sticky note. In the center interior of the base there is a spring, covered with plastic, that pushes up on the pad. The paper pad is housed in tabs in the medium-pink-colored top. The two portions snap together and come apart easily for sticky pad refills.

This dispenser works fine for me with off-label sticky notes, though you can't do this without a time-consuming modification. To use generic stickies or adapt a normal Post-it stack, choose a stack that measures approximately 3" x 3". The height of the stack is not important since sheets can be saved for later if it's too tall. Separate the stickies one by one, and reattach them to one another accordion style. Then, load them into the dispenser as directed.

The heft of this product is impressive; even though it's plastic it feels sturdy, and it sits still when sheets are removed, so that it does the work of one hand (holding the pad). The only negative I can think to say about it is that it does take up a lot more space than simply having a Post-it pad sitting on your desk.

So really - this dang thing is so doggone cute. Who would not like it?

I put it on my desk and EVERYONE comments on it and picks it up. Even the guys! It's much heavier than I expected which means it doesn't fall over which is great. The post its come out just fine although I do sort of contort my hand a bit to get them vs. the normal dispenser (the plain one that everyone has lol). Nevertheless this is easy to refill.

Let's face it - there isn't much out there in the "cute and unique" category in office supplies. I mean I try to mix it up - vibrant neon post its, colored pens, and the like - but a girl can only do so much. It is office supplies.

This is a super fun dispenser that also functions as a conversation starter and all around attention getter. Since I like attention I like it a lot!

This post-it note dispenser has a fabulous design, good weight, and a bonus spinning action - every once in a while I just give it a little spin just because! It also has a built in compression spring so no matter how low the stack gets, it still fits snuggly in the dispenser. Honestly, I'm so pleased with this thing that I just had to write a review. Who has the time, ordinarily? But I I'd like to thank the engineer responsible for this design. I'm super pleased!

This is adorable. And not only that but it is really well made! It's heavy and sturdy, it really feels like it will last a long time. It comes with a full pad of sticky notes that are green and pink. I checked and it looks easy to refill. It looks really cute setting on my desk and I've gotten a lot of compliments so far.

This pop-up Post-it dispenser was much larger than I expected. Measures 5.5" by 5.5". But it's not boxy and it's black so in an office, it doesn't look distracting. It just blends in with my black office equipment (monitor, phone, computer). It's also much heavier than I expected. And with the rubberized bottom, no matter how hard or fast I ripped out a note, it didn't budge. It twists open easily for refills and has a spring loaded piece inside that makes sure the notes are always pushed up to opening at the top so that every last note is ready to be dispensed. Quality piece, pleasant on the eyes, and no noticeable design flaws. The only thing I didn't like were the blue Post-its notes it came with. But that is my personal pet-peave. I don't like the bold and dark colored notes because I want my writing to pop and be easy to read. No big deal though, I will just swap those out.
