My Boston Terrier has allergies to all insect bites and grain. Her hair falls out, ears get infected and paw pads are tender. She constantly licks her paws when she is experiencing these symptoms. I didn't really expect such fast and noticeable results. My dogs coat is clear and so shiny and healthy looking. Her ears are greatly improved and her feet are getting well since starting her on Coco Therapy. I have been giving her Coco Therapy for less than a month and am amazed at how great it works. I bought her the Cocotherapy coconut chips but haven't given her any to see how she would respond to the oil first. It is very evident that her immune system is greatly improved and I will continue ordering this wonderful product.

My dog and cat both love this stuff. They lick it right out of the jar, and it seems to make their coats softer and shinier. I'm hoping that it'll also help to heal a skin abrasion on my dog, and help our cat with his allergies. But, it's too soon to tell.

That said, I gave this product four stars instead of five because it's ridiculously more expensive than seemingly-identical products that are sold by other companies. E.g., Nature's Way sells a 16oz jar for $7.99, and that product is also eligible for free shipping via Amazon Prime. So, this product costs *twice* as much for *half* the volume of the Nature's Way product, and you must also pay for shipping. Because of that, next time around, I'll buy the product from a different company.

I put it in a spoon or the palm of my hand and she licks it off.
This product is very good for the pets, being a cat or dog.
Helps keep shedding down and makes their fur shinny.

recommended by my pet store...i was putting a little of my expensive Moroccan hail oil on my dog's coat and was told not to because if he licked it it could be toxic. this oil can even be added to your dog's food (just like a squirt of salmon oil). a tiny bit rubbed between your palms and a quick back rub will leave your dog with a soft shiny coat that smells deliciously of coconut. i also recommend the coco therapy chips to sprinkle on his food.

I never gave 1 star to anything. But this is about my dog's health. As I received this, I noticed some non-white section but I thought it was a part of natural coconut. I gave my puppy this and he ate it. He loved it. But that non-white section kept on bugging me, so I wrote email to the Coco Therapy company. They said it might be "shadow" it might be "mold". Now I'm freaking out. My puppy ate the mold. He is very quiet today. What am I going to do? I'll take him to the vet. :(

I already give me golden salmon oil, brewers yeast pills, good food, puréed vegetables, sardines,etc. My understanding was that this coconut oil would help his skin( hot spots). This is my second jar n I give him about a tablespoon a day. I have seen NO difference in his skin, his coat, anything. On the other side of the coin he likes it but he likes to eat ANYTHING

I never used Coconut Oil of any kind, I like Coconut but not a Big Fan. I was surprised to see that "CocoTherapy Organic Virgin Coconut Oil" comes in a Glass Jar and is Congealed into a Thick White Paste with the aroma of Coconut. An Oil that is Good for just about everything, 1 Tablespoon has 120 Calories. I have used in Baking and Cooking instead of Butter with excellent results and the aroma of Coconut is not that noticeable, my Pets like it too. I have also applied it to my Face, made it Nice and Soft...Next I want to try it on my Scalp to see if it will Grow Thicker Hair...

Coconut Oil is Recommended as a Supplement, Take 1 Tablespoon 1 to 4 times daily, maybe use it as a Spread or added to Salad Dressings and Smoothies

FOR COOKING: Use it in Place of Butter, Margarine, Shortening or other Cooking Oils, for Baking or Frying in Temperatures up to 350F degrees

FOR SKIN CARE: Use it as a Moisturizer Lotion, Place Jar in warm water to Liquefy, Massage small amounts onto the Skin

FOR HAIR CARE: Use it as a Conditioner, Place Jar in warm water to Liquefy, then apply 2 teaspoons to the Hair 1 to 2 Hours before Washing
