Avoid this one. I have never written a review before, but felt I had to on this bad purchase. My mistake! I am usually pleased with Amazon purchases and I make many, but this product is below the quality of what should be sold on Amazon. I should have trusted the previous poor reviews! The mount broke coming out of the box! The light must be cycled through the complete group of options to get to the one you want each time. The light/laser combo setting does not work. It is not as bright as it should be. The mount is poor and similar lights are available for much less.

As an LE officer, I will tell you, save your money. I bought this to try it, took it back the next day. The brightness of this light is too poor to give you any tactical advantage. All it will do is throw up a beacon for the bad guy to help shoot you quicker. In short, if it is to be used for a real world scenario, buy quality, and get a good bright weapon light.

As with a few others, my perspective is that the system is okay except for how it clamps to the gun. There was very little grab from the set screw and the clamp doesn't do much to tighten the overall system. I have not fired yet, but I'm certain that the system is going to fall off when I do. It did so once already when trying to better align the light with the barrel.

The light itself seems great for the price. I thought that it was sufficiently bright and I like the various setting options between light only, laser only, light/laser combo, and strobe light.

find another product this is a POS! returned it once after shooting 5 bird shot rounds from my Mossberg 500 and it fell off, the new mount did exactly the same. I don't think this thing would hang off a BB gun.. Click on another product no need to think about this one any further...

got this as a gift to fit on to a 12 gauge so i did not have to handle both light and firearm ,

the locking lug on the mount shattered after it was put on.

been using just the light for now . happy with the strength of the light . but the strobe and laser are useless .

the light is put together badly have had to repair it multiple times .

the nature of the repair being in the dark and generally at a bad time.

the body has separated from the head multiple times . the light flickers when placed under stress .

my advice is to buy a good sturdy light and then buy a mag clamp for a shotgun and attache it that way .

this is what i have done with a rifle and it works better .

The flashlight functions very well and the mounting clamp is solid, but the cord for the remote switch pulled out of the end cap after about a week. It appears that the only thing holding the wire into the end cap was a small amount of solder. This is completely unacceptable for a piece of "tactical" equipment. A little bit of epoxy added during the production process would have solved this easily foreseen problem. If you are planning on putting this device on the end of your home defense shotgun, please look for a more reliable piece of hardware.

The light I received was slightly longer than the description, 5.125", and the button is on the barrel and not the head of the light. It is heavier than I expected, but doesn't seem to affect my shotgun any. Mounted perfectly to my Mossberg 500 Persuader mag tube with the mount it came with. The light is bright, lit up an entire bedroom from the door, and shining it down a hall 40 feet to my living room wall made everything in the living room perfectly clear. I have no doubt the brightness of this light combined with the racking of my 12 gauge will make any intruder wet his pants!

Unfortunately (as I edit this review) I took this light off my shotgun to install a new heat shield with sights, and upon re-installing the light, the clamping mechanism broke! The light is still really bright, but now I need to find another clamp to attach it to my mag tube, or possibly a rail attachment that I can use to attach it to the new rail that came with the heat shield. If you get this light, put it on and leave it on! Multiple adjustments of the clamp could lead to breakage!

I bought it for my moss 500. Doesn't fit really well on the the short barrels. Shot it the first time and it popped right off. Also the pressure switch stopped working on me(I've had it for less than a year). And the glue that comes with it to stick to the gun might as well be made of spit. I will say the LEDs are very bright though. Good for night sight if it would stay on the gun and work. You get what you pay for.
