It was exactly what I needed! It's not another top coat it is just a liquid that makes you nail polish dry quickly. You can touch your nails seconds after applying and not smudge it. It has a nice smell too and I accidentally put my hand in my mouth after and it wasn't horribly chemically tasting either. I don't recommend eating it though.

This isn't another top coat, like Seche Vite. It's an oil that is supposed to be lightly brushed onto the nail (after ALREADY having put on top coat) which cuts the drying time. It does what its supposed to be doing- cutting down the time it takes to dry the polish on your nails. Obviously, when too much of the product is used, there will be an excess of oil on top of your nails. That's like taking home a food item, over using it, then complaining about it not doing the job properly. Too much of a good thing is never beneficial. In any case, don't put on too much of the oil after your polish. If it irritates you, then simply wash it off (after, of course, waiting to let the oil do its job) or wipe it away to reveal wonderfully dry, beautiful nails.
