Bought this as a gamble since all my local computer shops/retailers did not carry this size of Pentalobe Screwdriver. It barely even fits 3/4ths of the Star/5 point screw it was made to fit for. And hardly has any grip for factory tightened screws for Macbook Pro batteries.

This is a great product to have if you have a Macboook Air. It opened most of the screws, only not the one where the slottings had been spoiled due to using other precision screw drivers.
Water had spilled on my Macbook Air and I needed to remove the screws. Had i had this product from before, I could have removed the screws immediately and let it dry. However it took me 10 days to figure this screwdriver and get it home and my Macbook Air has not recovered.
Its a bad idea to have any liquid near Apple products. A good learning from that incident.
If you already have an Apple product, I highly recommend you have the screwdriver that is required to open it just in case, especially after the 1 yr warranty is over. This 5 point Pentalobe screwdriver works great with Macbook Air.

The seller did a good job of getting this to me, but unfortunately it's just not a good tool. At least on my 2012 Retina MacBook Pro 15", it fits the screws very loosely and almost seems like a generic 5-point screwdriver rather than a specifically designed pentalobe driver.

It will probably get the screws in and out...once. I don't want to try because I could tell right away that it would destroy them.

I'll see if I can post some images later to illustrate what I'm talking about. In the meantime, invest in a better tool for your expensive computer.

this worked perfect for removing the cover from my mac air - unfortunately I needed still more screwdrivers once I got inside the computer, sheesh. I thought that is was nice that the vendor didn't gouge on the shipping. It was a 50 cent shipping charge instead of the usual 3.99 or better.

Bought this to gently tighten the screws at the bottom of my Macbook Air as the aluminum will become loose/flex over time.

Operative word being 'gently'. I applied very little torque, not wanting to strip the screws or the head of the screwdriver. The screwdriver itself became stripped on the 4th screw.

Absolutely worthless.

Too big for the screws in my mid-2012 MBA. Drove me nuts while using friction and trying not to damage the back of the MBA every time if slipped out. Finally got it to fit by sanding it down. Garbage. Buy something else.
